It’ll sound like a very first world problem, I lost both parents very suddenly 1 year apart and grandparents the two years before. Both parents worked until the day they died (heart attack and pulmonary embolism). Dad was retirement age when mom died but went back to work and then retired again 1 month before he died about half year ago.

For myself, I have done very well and I have always imagined I would dedicate myself to give my parents a well-deserved retirement without ever having to worry about financials. We were immigrants, grew up lower working class, parents never took a vacation until dad hit 65. Otherwise I live a simple life, spent time with dad after mom passed, we went on 1-

My (32M) father (67M) widowed 1.5 years ago, has a habit of hoarding a dozen menial tasks and saving it for when I come to visit and offloading it all at once.

For context, I live 1 hour away, I do a pretty good job visiting once (sometimes twice) a week for a good half day, I rarely miss a week - I take him out to eat, to shop. My two brothers (25M and 35M) both live with my dad, are fully capable adults. When it comes to major help with dad, I would say the eldest and I are 50/50 split. But I get tasked with multiple simple things that obviously do not specifically require my help and the time adds up. It has become more like a chore for me to visit, it has become an expectation that I c

Home came with 5 ceiling KEF Ci160ER and just need a receiver. Currently using Samsung Soundbar and blue tooth subwoofer.

Looking for budget friendly 5.1. Wondering if the Yamaha v6A will do the trick and if it is worth $587 CAD at Costco. The V4A is $479, but only rated at 80W. The KEF speakers are rated 10-100W.

Also can receivers audio output to wired speakers and Bluetooth subwoofers concurrently?

I have a new build PC, integrated bluetooth/Wifi with motherboard + antenna.

Initially no issues with connecting bluetooth devices (speakers, keyboard, mouse) and wifi for 1 week. Then I updated to Windows 11, after restarting PC I am now unable to connect bluetooth devices while on a 2.4gHz Wifi network, but everything is fine on 5gHz Wifi. Devices will immediately disconnect when I switch back to 2.4gHz.

I have tried reverting back to Windows 10 and also did full factory reset, which did not solve the issue.

Other devices are still able to connect to bluetooth on 2.4gHz network.

I've read that bluetooth devices share 2.4gHz frequency, but this does not explain why initially there were

New build. Motherboard: Aorus b550 ax v2 1.2 Bios ver F15

I have XMP enabled but my ram is still running at 2667MHz although it detects the ram as DDR4-3200.

Anything I can do to enable? I can’t seem to be able to manually put in the multiplier after disabling XMP either.

Hi PFC, potential first time home buyer here. We recently saw a home in an area we'd be happy to move into and stay longterm that is 99% going to sell below market value (I'd be willing to bet potentially $100k below the average of the area)

The caveat:

It is an investment property for the owner and the current tenants have made it adamantly clear that they DO NOT want to move out and has escalated to the landlord tenant board (LTB). They are currently on a month-to-month basis and we have been told the landlord has offered the tenants a large "undisclosed lump sum" to move out, to which the tenants have declined.

We saw the property today and the house is unkempt, there are no pictures
