I find myself doing this more and more since my husband of 26 years passed away 2 years ago. I talk to Jake, Alonso.. All of them. I've been a Mets fan since 1967. I've seen the greats and the not-so-greats.

My favorites? Seaver, Doc and King Jacob.

I'm looking to getting a memorial tattoo for my late husband; specifically a Harley Davidson Panhead motor. His Panhead was his entire world for 24 years. Ot would mean so much to me.

Does anyone know if there's anywhere to watch todays game? I'm only seeing that it's available on MLB Extra Innings and Bally Sports Florida. I'm not paying to watch now. MAYBE in October, but not now. LFGM. ⚾️⚾️⚾️⚾️

I was sitting outside, bird-watching like I love to do. I was out there for like 2 hours and 5 hawks were circling, there were Robin's and grey catbirds and of course, sparrows.

Then a majestic red cardinal came and perched on the railing 2 feet away. He sat there for 2 minutes and stared at me.

I know about the cardinal legend of it's passed loved coming to visit. I told the bird I'm trying to be okay, honey, but I miss you so damn much. I swear that bird understood what I was saying. It cheeped once and flew off

It's been 2 and a half years that he's gone, but this damn bird just brought it all back today. 😭

I spoke to Social Security today about widow benefits and my Aunt had told me to expect $800.00 a month. I spoke to the lady today and she told me I'm getting $1,650.00 a month. PLUS the $800.00 I'm already getting every month from his Union.

He took such good care of me for 26 years and he's still taking good care of me 2 years after his death.

I am in the Branchburg/Whitehouse area right on U.S. Route 22. I am temporarily disabled due to a knee rebuild and need to get to the store sometime today. When I tried to check on the price for a ride there and back the Uber app said "no cars available". I've never gotten that message before and thought perhaps they weren't running today due to the weather. The highway is plowed and cars are traveling. Perhaps I should just try later since I'm not in any hurry?

Anyone know anything? Thank you in advance for any help or suggestions you can give me!
