I will be in the Denver - Boulder area this fall. Any recommendations for favorite western stores there? I am particularly interested in those with good quality hats
Looking for a high quality dry cleaning service that does not crush buttons and who spends time with the customer to learn the type of stain so they can treat it properly. Also used to working with silk and other fine fabrics.
So my wife really hates hearing upsells either from sales people or over the loudspeaker. I tolerate it but don't care for it either. It it's a flyer or email we figure we can ignore it, we just don't like it when we are trying to relax.
We are mostly interested in the premium lines where we can chill but I noticed in some recent YT videos it appears Princess is guilty of this. Am I misreading that? If not, what other lines are more chill and don't constantly try to upsell you?
I live north of Charlottesville and sometimes stop at the Ruckersville Starbucks. Nice staff and nice store layout but the past two times I went through the drive through it was over a 30 minute wait (yes I timed it). I know the first time they had three folks out not sure about the second time. I have not seen that kind of wait any other Starbucks, any insights?
Separately it looks like there is going to be a French style café and bakery opening in the strip shopping center just south of the 29/33 intersection, might try then when it opens.
Just started cruising and trying to decide whether Cunard is for us. Based on review of videos, love the vibe, I am a big nautical history buff, and we love to dress up. However what is holding us back is the food. We are American but don't love the typical American food such as deep fried stuff and I hate ranch dressing with a passion. On the other hand we do love quality slow smoked BBQ and a quality New York steak and Alaskan Char. We are well traveled and we love Mediterranean food, Asian food, and Middle Eastern Eastern food. Yes we are foodies.
No offense but we do not care for traditional British food. On the other hand I do love a good peated Scotch.
Will we be disappointed with
Curious if anyone else is doing this, the two that speak to us in these respective categories are Holland America and Explora. Would love to know who bounces between the mainstream lines and the more luxury or semiluxury ones.
Thought we would have some fun. I tell you a bit about us and you recommend the best cruise line:
- We are foodies, particularly good seafood but enjoy a good ribeye or thickly grilled porkchop. We also love Asian including fusion. We do not eat much fried foods.
- We do drink and like craft cocktails and good quality drier wines. Will drink an occasional beer.
- We do enjoy the pool in good weather and chatting with folks pool side.
- We are first wave Gen X with adult children.
- We are American but travel internationally (all continents except Antarctica so far) and my wife is semifluent in French.
- Not supper affluent I drive a Dodge RAM she drives a hybrid Honda.
- We do l
Anyone have recs for someone to plow a church parking lot in Greene Co VA?
I know it's generalized but for those who have traveled both Princess and Celebrity which do you find has the better main dining room food? Note this request for input is specific to MDRs and not regarding specialty restaurants or buffet.
Planning our first HAL cruise. Is it better to book straight with HAL via their agent or through a separate travel agent? Trip would be Alaska
Hello We have just starting making plans for a family cruise (all adult). My daughter is a strict vegan (no egg or milk products) and we would like to be on a cruise where she feels at home. Presently we are looking at Virgin, Celebrity, Princess, Holland America, and Oceania. We originally had Viking in the mix but a search of vegan with Viking brought up the following : "While not having a specific vegan menu like some others, (Viking) staff will work to cater to your needs."The other lines I mention all reference availability of vegan specific menus so we have removed Viking from our short list. If you are vegan (not just vegetarian) I would love to hear your experiences with the above li
