I’m playing as Mold Alex in the Cymru Premier. It’s the start of the 2059/60 season. I’ve finally built a UCL-contending team, coming second three years ago, winning two years ago, and making the semis last season. Wales has risen to 10th in the nation coefficient rankings and this season is a swing season, meaning I can overtake Scotland and Belgium to take 8th.

But I can’t lie: I’m tired. My laptop is dreadful, making load times long, and I’m struggling to motivate myself to keep going. I’ve been debating ways to keep things fresh – perhaps taking over a smaller yo-yo club to bring them up to support with European runs.

For anyone who has done this type of save, how do you deal with th

I’ve made it the Champion’s League knockouts with Mold Alex. The year is 2044. It has been an absolute slog, and I will 100% get knocked out in the next round, but my boys made it to the latter stages! At long last, (fake) history has been made for Welsh football.

I’m playing as Mold Alex in the Cymru Premier. Currently 18 seasons on and I’ve built them up to dominate domestically and be competitive in Europe. Last season, we lost in the Conference League final to Sunderland, who were relegated from the top flight. Annoying, but they were leagues above us in quality.

A few years ago, I picked up a Spanish regen from their lower leagues for 35k, Robert Gual. He was supposed to be the chosen one. I loaned him out to progressively better clubs for the past three seasons, the latest of which was Elversberg in Bundesliga 2. Still, he doesn’t get a work permit, so I give him one more season before I decide to offload. This summer, an Eredivisie team and S

After doing the unthinkable with Yeovil Town and taking them up to the Championship, I manage to somehow come third in my second season, missing out on automatic promotion to Blackburn by one point. I go into the playoffs thinking I have a decent chance against an out-of-form QPR who I have beaten on the past three occasions.

Wrong. After taking an early lead in the first leg, I sub on Lokosa, a young Dutchman with a worrying amount of aggression. Nevertheless, I put my faith in him to do the job. My faith, however, was misplaced as he gives away a penalty that eventually leads to them mounting a comeback to win 2-1.

No matter, I think. I have the second leg at home and my record at Huish

The year is 2029 and I am currently managing Yeovil Town. I signed Sam a couple years back as my Director of Football and he’s been with me during my journey up the leagues. I am about to enter my second season in the Championship, having managed a 19th-place finish to defy all odds and make history for the Glovers.

But is now the time for change? Sam is nearing 75. His stats are alright and his jovial spirit lifts everyone up at Huish Park, but I can’t help thinking his views on football are now outdated.

What should I do?

I’ve just secured back-to-back promotions from League Two to the Championship with Yeovil Town and have a few contracts expiring, but the wage demands seem really high. For example, my star striker (18 goals, 4 assists and 6 PoM) wants to go from 1,800 to 9,000 a week. Is this reasonable or am I being take for a ride? I still have time to withdraw my offer.
