I live in the North East and it seems like every Honda/Acura car starts rusting around the rear wheel wells after 8-10 years while Toyotas don't seem to.

My friend had a 2010 Civic Hybrid and 2009 Toyota Corolla and the Civic started rusting first while the Toyota was traded before it had any visible rust.

That same friend is convinced that Honda uses lower quality steel. I think it's just a matter of where you're driving or possibly the body design holds split around the fenders.

Anyone have any insight or thoughts?

I have a basic Sony STR-DH590 hooked up to my TV with HDMI and it seems to automatically change modes to some virtual surround mode where I hear voices in the rear speakers that should be just in the center channel.

Because of the automatic switching I always have to hit the "pure direct" button for the proper mix as it was intended.

Anyone know of a way where I can lock in pure direct mode or make it the default?
