Western Suburbs

Having an ownership of car transferred and need a roadworthy. No problem. However most of the places I've called for a booking have a wait times of 2 to 3 weeks.

Are there any suburbs, maybe an hour or less out of the metro region, that any of you are familiar with for not having wait times that far out?

Or is 2 weeks a common wait time when obtaining a RWC?
