Hi everyone, I'm looking for some advice. I'm trying to learn more about where I came from, and the culture that I belong to. When I was raised in America my mom didn't teach me much about Filipino culture. I don't think her parents taught her very much either. They were very happy to assimilate, and I can't blame them for trying to give their kids the best life possible.

All of that has left me kind of stranded when it comes to my Filipino identity. I know a bit about my grandparents from talking to my mom, but she doesn't know much at all about what deeper culture they might have come from. Specifically I'm interested in pre-colonial culture. Does anyone have experience looking into this

So I subscribed to ChapoTrapHouse a while ago, I think I followed a link from one of the anarchist subreddits. I gather they're a bit less concerned about coming across the wrong way, a bit edgier than most. Anyway, yesterday I saw this post fetishizing trans folk, which the folks over there seemed to be all in favor for.

I tried to figure out if I was missing a peice of the puzzle, and didn't exactly get any sympathy. np.reddit link

Is this common on that sub? I didn't really expect that kind of behavior, for whatever reason.

I've noticed a big trend of grenade teamkills recently. Half of my squad games, someone will be trying to kill the rest of the team by carefully throwing frags. Sometimes they'll use smokes or bushes to their advantage, sometimes they'll wait until we're trying to revive each other.

Its really frustrating, and it makes for a terrible game experience. I understand grenades are powerful and they need to be balanced (by self and team damage currently), but its been too much lately.

I would personally suggest: explosions (ie: barrels and frags) from other people on your team cannot kill you or bring you below 5% of your health. Frags would still require coordination and consideration

In my time playing I've found its incredibly difficult to deal any damage to a player you're chasing. The reason is, their shots will trail behind their tank, while yours can't catch up. To fix this, and make it so a more even trade can be had, the velocity of a tank needs to factor into its bullet's speed. If a tank is moving left, and shoots directly up, the velocity of the bullets needs to also be slightly left, it needs to be shot out relative to the tank.

From a coding perspective, this is easy. When you make the bullets, add the tank's velocity to them. And from a gameplay perspective, it will significantly improve moving combat. Thank you for your time.

Its silly, but the cute names that everyone picks really make the game much more fun for me! I love giving the cutest ones little nibbles of me when I'm already big!
