SITUATION

I had a party fleeing from a dungeon. They found the artifact they were looking for, which they had battled a wight and a bunch of zombies for. They killed the wight pretty easily, a zombie, and turned the remaining four zombies. To avoid the turned zombies after the spell effect dissipated, they took a short cut through the tomb's central great hall. A void spider was waiting in the dark and attacked the party for disturbing its lair. The party has a quick and bloody battle they were hoping to avoid, and the wizard is bit by the void spider and fails the poison CON DC twice, once using a luck token. The wizard goes to 0 HP just as the void spider is slayed. A priest heals him for

I am in Nashville with a friend who wants to buy her first electric and I want to go to the best shop. She is new to guitar, but she is a multi-instrumentalist and a professional music teacher, so she's not a complete newbie. I'd like her to sit with all the different models/styles, so the place should be helpful/nice and have a good assortment. We wouldn't be looking for an old vintage expensive piece, but I do want to find a used guitar with a little mojo and magic if possible. Any and all suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks!

Dumb question for smart people:

I am new to carnivore and it is recommended to eat about 2lbs a meat a day. Of course, we want to listen to our bodies and adjust from that point.

What I'm not sure about is when to weigh our meat? I can grill 2lbs of meat and after it is done cooking, it weighs much less. So do I weigh my meat before or after cooking?

I cooked a lot of meat last night. I weighed it this morning to portion my meals (I had my gallbladder removed so I'm spreading meals to help my body adapt) and I noticed the cooked meat weighs a lot less. I want to ensure I am eating enough though.

Thanks!

The title says it all. I have an appointment with a NOCD therapist later this week and was wondering if anyone has any experience.

Since discovering I have OCD and that ERP is by far the best treatment, I wanna pretty desperate to find a behaviorist specialist in OCD and it seemed daunting. Then I stumbled upon this app. It feels like a godsend.

Thanks.

I saw a post yesterday and the OP started they have been playing 10 years, they plateaued, and never really developed as an improviser. This post resonated with me. I've been playing for a while, I love improvised music, and my improvising skills are lackluster. Several commenters recommended Mick Goodrick's book The Advancing Guitarist. I was familiar with the title, Trey Anastasio recommends it as well, but I never checked it out until this morning.

Holy cow this is going to be good! Just playing on a single string is making things so clear: intervallic distances, notes on the neck, notes of the arpeggio. In my first session, I played around with Miles Davis solo on So What unitar-style (
