My grandfather died about 2 weeks ago from health related complications and I've been trying to be there for my grandmother as much as I could.

The thing about my grandmother is that she has clinical depression and given the loss, her depression has been getting worse.

I tried to help her by calling her on the phone almost every day, consoling her when she's having an depressive episode, and visiting her/ spending time with her. It's having an effect on my mental health (ocd/ anxiety) to the point that I had to push aside my need to grieve in order for her to healthily cope.

How could I help her out without sacrificing my wellbeing?

To give background on my issue, I'm a 21 year old female who's an ex-Christian atheist. I never officially came out as an atheist to my family (my mom's side are the more lax Christians and my dad's side is baptist with a few Catholics) because I didn't see it as important for them to know and I don't want that battle.

It came out to my dad's side that I didn't go to church. I tried being respectful over their beliefs and made the excuse of I work a lot, I tried saying I just practice at home, I tried lying about finding a church. None of it worked.

My grandmother is the worst culprit when it comes to nagging about me to go to church. She's one of those rural southern old ladies who believ

I try to be respectful towards my dad's side when it comes to religion (Mostly Baptist with some members being catholic) but they try to push their agenda towards me.

For example, when I was a teenager, my grandmother tried forcing me to date guys in her church around my age group so that she could have a great grandchild (which I was a closeted bisexual and didn't want children). It got to the point where I didn't want to speak to her because of the pressure of trying to get me married off or something.

As an 21 year old woman, I didn't believe in God and didn't see the point in going to church (unless it's a funeral) where I have to be forced to listen to things I don't agree with. My

When I was a child, my father married this woman called E. E spent the duration of her marriage with my father emotionally abusing me. (I.E. making me only watch the christian channel, making me wear old baggy clothes because my clothes made me look slutty even though my mom approved of the clothes, threaten ending herself multiple time because I was a bad child. To name a few)

While she was doing that, my father turned a blind eye. He never took my side in any of the arguments and he sometimes yell at me because of something E said that wasn't true.

I never told him about E's abuse out of fear that it would get even worse. Now as an adult, I've been diagnosed with Dermatilomania (skin p

Warning for drug abuse, descriptions of potential abuse, brief mentions of self harm. I'm so sorry if my experience triggers anyone.

When I was a kid, my father remarried a woman who at first was nice to me, buying toys for me and going shopping / to the park together.

All that changed once she married my dad. It started with the small things like her doing something that triggered my anxiety (i.e. I hate it when people touch my things and she would take an item away with no reason. Then it moved to me only allowed to watch the public christian channel when she was around because she thought my love for horror movies was evil and unladylike.

As the years progressed, she moved on to more

I'm sorry if this has been asked before or if I'm not articulating the question the best.

I work in retail as a sales associate/ trainer for a pretty big company. On Saturday night, my manager asked me before she left to do her a favor before I clocked out. So it took me a few minutes (my shift ended at 7pm and I got out 7:12 pm). So today as I was clocking in, I saw that she changed my clock out time (to 7pm) without letting me know anything.

Is this legal for her to do? Am I being taken advantage of legally?

I work in retail at a country store. I love the company and I get along well with my coworkers. I enjoy helping people find gifts/ items they want.

Ever since November of this past year, I feel like I'm not valued as an employee. When my manager arrived on November, I feel as if I'm more of a burden to her than a help.

For example, a part of my job is to train the new employees. My manager doesn't let me do my job and instead makes her select pick of employees to do so. What's the point of having me in that job if you won't let me prove my worth.

I'm scared of asking her questions because I dont know when she's going to be a sarcastic with me or actually answer the question. I don't

I've been preparing my suicide for the last month. I dont see myself falling in love with anyone or anyone falling in love with me. All my friends left me or got tired of me. My family are all happy and would probably be happier without me. I tried everything to be happy and nothing works. I'm working on my suicide note and I don't see me living to be 30. No one will miss me when I die.

I don't hate beautiful people, I just feel less of a person when they enter my job with their perfect boyfriends/ girlfriends, showing pda in front of me. It kills me that I'll most likely never have that sort of happiness in my life because of how ugly I am. Does anyone else feel the same??

I'm so scared of coming out to you as an bisexual atheist. I respect your religion but I'm scared of the fact I won't get the same thing back. I've spent most of my 21 years of life hiding who I am for the sake of having you in my life. I know what your religion says about same sex relationships and you'll most likely never accept me if I do come out to you.

I've hidden a lot from you about what I'm going through because I never wanted to burden you with my issues. I might never find anyone who would love me and I fully accept it.

How can I be more confident with who I am? I know if you find out about who I really am, things wont be the same for me and you.
