Hey! I'm trying to find or create an AI version of Arnold’s “GET TO THE CHOPPER!” line from Predator — but with “CHARGER” instead, in the same tone, energy, and voice.

I want to use it as a low battery alert on my phone, so ideally it would sound just like the original — not an impression, but either a voice clone or a clean audio edit.

Do you think it’d be better to ask in r/AudioPost, r/AItools, or r/SFX instead? Either way, if anyone here can help or point me in the right direction, I’d really appreciate it!

So my old laptops motherboard fried. It was a Lenovo ThinkBook 15 G2 ITL (i5-1135G7) bought in 2021. I'm looking for a similar non gaming Laptop, anything from an i3-i7 or R3-R7.

I'd like for it to have room for dual M.2 2280 SSD's, since my old ThinkBook also had two M.2 slots and I have two sticks of 1TB each already from the old laptop.

Is there a way to make yt-dlp download and embed only one subtitle file?

If manual subs exist, download only those. If manual subs don't exist, download auto-generated subs. Every time manual subs are available and are downloaded, the auto-generated ones download themselves as well. If I remove the first two lines of code or only the second line, auto-generated subs won't download at all. I've tried asking chat GPT, googling, and I can't get it to work.

My RCS chats stopped working after I switched carriers and insterted the SIM card before it switched back to my original number, so the temporary number somehow took over and screwed everything up. Basically it was stuck on "setting up...trying to verify"

I've turned off RCS chats, and the setting has been turned off for about a month (they say you need to wait at least 10 days).

My question is, can I just turn RCS back on, and if it doesn't work, then try all these steps:

Switch Sim cards, auto verification, airplane mode, clear data and force stop google messages and carrier services, wifi off, mobile data only, unpair and/or deregister messages account with the number.

My car has an inbuilt Garmin naviation kit with a power supply that came included, factory made, and cannot be removed.

Since I don't need an old Garmin, and I've already figured out how to attach my phone to it, I was wondering if it's possible to splice these cables (picture middle) onto one end of a USB-C cable (picture top left) and to convert it into a USB-C charging cable for my phone or dashcam?

In preparation to hand over my work phone to the next person in line (they get to keep the phone and the SIM card/ the number itself), I backed up my pictures, put all the important work contacts onto the SIM card so the next person will have still them after the factory reset, and then I factory reset my phone.

After handing it over, I remembered that I forgot to delete the WhatsApp and Viber messages from inside the apps. I'm assuming these apps are tied to the phone number itself, and not the Google account or anything similar?

Will the next person, after installing these apps, have access to my previous messages? It's not a big deal but I'd prefer they didn't.

Hello,

I am trying to Root my old Honor 9 phone from 2017. I was following the steps outlined here. Bootloader is unlocked and TWRP is installed.

The problem happens at the last step when I go to install Magisk from the SD card, I get a "! Cannot mount /system", then an error, and then some more failures see picture.

Does anyone know what I did wrong? Thanks!

I just bought a new Mx Anywhere 3, and while it seems to be a good mouse, Logi Options+ are not able to customize the two side buttons for next/previous tab.

Is there a fix?

After receiving some excellent help here today, I set the bookmarks toolbar to "Only Show on New Tab", and put in this code, and it worked.

#navigator-toolbox:focus-within > #PersonalToolbar{
   visibility: visible !important;
   max-height: initial !important;
}

But now, the bookmark folders in a non-new-tab sometimes won't open (see left side of picture) and just show this small vertical line below the folder on the left.

Left tab is opened in google.com, right tab is opened in New Tab

I loved it when Firefox implemented the bookmarks setting "Only Show on New Tab".

I've also found some userChrome code where it makes the bookmarks toolbar show in any tab when I click on the URL bar, but otherwise it stays hidden. I do this by setting it to "Always show" and putting this code in userChrome:

I am not specifically asking for a laptop, just a concept explained. With the ever-evolving technology, and now Intel's new 12th gen CPUs, I was wondering if for a 15.6" non-gaming laptop with two drives, would it be better to have a double M.2 2280 NVMe, or one M.2 and one 2.5"?

Am I correct in assuming that the double M.2 would be more future proof, possibly a premium build, while the M.2 + 2.5" would be better if you already own a 2.5" disk from before, whether that be a large HDD for media or just the main SSD you'd transfer from your old laptop, and possibly these laptops are cheaper in price.

So if you're starting fresh and you wanted 2 drives, which combo would you go for?

I've already found a few 15.6'' 2-in-1 laptops, but it's possible that I've missed some.
