I have been able to find plenty of information for employers hiring offshore staff, but not much from the other direction. I am looking at applying for a remote job (NZ based) with an offshore company; does anyone know - will I be subject to the NZ labour laws or the laws of the office I report to?

What about public holidays - do you get the local ones or the remotes ones?

If there's anyone else on here that has experience with this, I would greatly appreciate some tips.

How does the bone map work? I thought it would work like the normal map, but I've walked around the main island and the old grounds and have not seen any sign of warm/cold.

Google is buying fitbit - what do you reckon the chances are of fitbit becoming supported for adventure-sync? This could be a very useful addition some some players if google and Niantic see the possibilities.

Hi, I'm after a bit of advice regarding discord. I'm setting up a discord for my local area so people can get community day badges. Thats pretty much all we want to use it for, we co-ordinate raids etc in other apps and aren't interested in changing to discord.

Whats the bare minimum I need to be able to add prominent local trainers and hand out badges. Other than create the server (done), add people (pending) and register it with TSR league map ?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated. thanks!

I have 3 Gyrados over 3000CP with Bite/Twister. I have other Gyrados with dragon move & water moves.

Dark types are very rare here - I only have one double-dark Tyranitar, a lowly 1866CP Umbreon and then my next best dark types are Murkrow and Houndoom in the 1150CP area.

Is it worth trying for a bite/crunch Gyrados?

First, some positivity: I have to say, I love the gym badge system - I think Niantic really hit the target on that one.

I am however, really disappointed that they did not give the new gym/coin system a bit more time before tweaking it. Yes, it totally sucked butt only getting 4 measly coins when I am used to getting 100. It was always going to be high turn-over in the first 48 hours, but then things would have settled down a bit and the new meta would have established.

The strategic player looked at which gyms would likely turn over in days rather than hours or minutes, and deployed their pokemon there. The expected pay off would have come in 5-10 days as these pokemon brought home t

I was following the Ingress Intel map, and noticed a whopping great link headed south from NZ teminating at portal at McMurdo Station. As we all know, where there's portals, there's XM, and where there's XM, there's Pokemon.

Anyway, I thought it was mildly interesting. Now back to your regularly scheduled gym hype.

How about a very expensive (say, 500 coins), single use incubator that you can buy from the shop, that you can put any egg into, and it will multiply the walking distance by 10, but let you choose what will hatch from the egg.

So, for example, after spending a great wodge of coins, you could put a green 2km egg into your mega-incubator, and finally hatch that elusive Pikachu after walking 20km.

Or, you may choose to walk a purple 10 km egg for 100km and hatch that Lapras to complete your local pokedex.

Edit: and you could only have one at a time to stop it unbalancing the game.
