I have a Sony Vaio ultrabook with a depressingly small SSD (128GB), using Windows 10. Screenshot of my partitions is here: https://imgur.com/a/19lff Sorry for the German. A "Wiederherstellungspartition" is a recovery partition.

On that drive, there are 15GB of recovery partitions that I'd really like to be able to use with my main partition. I was wondering if I can delete them safely. I assume that at least one (the biggest one) of them is the VAIO recovery partition but I'm not sure. And I have no idea why there are 3 other recovery partitions...

I figured that one (the first one with 1.44GB) would be enough but I don't know how to find out where the Windows 10 back-up is located...

So, I've been out to myself and my parents (and a few select friends and strangers) as trans for 4 years but haven't really done anything about it because I'm awkward like that. I do want to transition eventually though but I'm worried about my family's reaction. I have a huge and usually very loving and awesome family but the "worst" we have is my uncle getting divorced so I don't know how they would react to suddenly having a gay nephew/cousin/... instead of a straight niece/cousin/...

My dysphoria, if you can even call it that isn't very bad and I consider my female body more as an inconvenience. Most times, I can ignore my breast and my "downstairs region" and instead focus on my pretty

I tried to google this but couldn't come up with anything and figured you guys might have a clue...

The one instance where I forgot something I really should (and do) know was in school when we did a dictation exercise and when I wanted to spell the word "exist" I forgot that the letter 'x' exists. Once I saw the actualy spelling I of course remembered and wondered how the hell this could happen.

There have been a few more instances where this happened and I know from other people that I'm not the only one. Any clue as to why our (my) brain sometimes just goes on strike?

I'm not searching for medical advice, I'm interested in the mechanics behind it. I'm not a medical professional so a bi

So, I will graduate from uni soon and have a (well-paying) full-time job in my city lined up. I have lived abroad for two years during uni and while I did enjoy my time, I really missed living with my parents. Not because I didn't need to do anything (I do help around the house) but because I geniuinely miss being around them as people. I hate living alone and would be looking for flatmates anyways so why not my parents? We get along great, know each others quirks and how to avoid them, ... Added to that is that the house is nice, I know the landlord ;-) and the location is pretty awesome. Basically, I see no reason to move out other than everyone seemingly wanting me to. Oh, and my parents

I'm thinking about starting on the Warrior Diet but I have football practice at 8pm which obviously clashes with the overeating phase. Does anyone have any experience with working out after eating and/or eating really late?

My little sister is a maths nerd and I figured it would be great if I could support her passion by getting her some books on maths that talk about the subject in an engaging(, teen-friendly) way. The books can be fairly complicated as long as they cover the basics. I'm not really looking for text books but more like popular science books about maths...

Oh and if the books is available in German, that would be amazing.

I hope my request is not too confusing. Any tips would be great.

so...

I've been asked out by a guy from uni who I see everyday and he's kinda clingy, but sweet. The problem is though: he knows me as a straight woman because I'm not out at uni and haven't start transitioning. what do I do? I don't want him to get his hopes up, because he is really nice but I also don't want to be out at uni...

As a last point, more of a general dating question, I think that he feels much more strongly about me than I do for him.

Any help is very much appreciated he's the first person ever to ask me out (being the tomboy makes you not that attractive to guys) and I have absolutely no idea what to do.

I was in an economics lecture today where my lecturer said that in economic models they assume that work is only a "loss of free time" and is only there to allow us to consume more by getting money. That really struck me as a shitty world view however easier it makes the model.

Made me doubt my degree again. I don't want to work in a field where everyone sees work as an inconvenience.

I wasn't exactly sure if this post fitted in r/minimalism but I figured/hope that most people here share my disappointment in that statement.

so, i'm a woman but want to be a guy (still not sure about the right terminology here. sorry!)...

i've been out to my mum for a year, and a few weeks ago i went to a trans support group and my mum outed me to my dad by telling him where i went. they're really fine with it. my mum's really supportive while my dad's just saying "whatever, if it makes you happy."

i did tell my mum that i wasn't planning on transitioning though because i'm into guys and to be honest i'm a bit scared by the process. however, i've been thinking more and more about transitioning recently.

the thing is though that when i think about me having a penis it feels weird. whenever i think about having sex with someone,

If you were beating up someone and the police broke up the fight and arrested you, would you still be charged with battery if the victim said that he was fine and doesn't want to press charges?

i'm pretty good at decluttering and streamlining my chores etc. but I never seem to feel calm and non-stressed. I just have way to many things I want to do in life and I feel like they can't wait.

At the moment, I'm at uni full time while also working part time, doing sports nearly every morning and night (trying to get on the Rugby National Team), trying to learn to code, helping my mum with her crafts business, volunteering at the local theatre, writing my first tv series, and then there's my friends and family who I really like to see once in a while...

Any tips on how to de-stress my life would be greatly appreciated. I'd hate to cancel any of the things I do because I love doing them

i do sports 6 to 7 times a week (running, soccer, rugby, weights) and as you can imagine, i've got a lot of kit laying around.

aside from the clothes that i can store in my wardrobe i got 5 pairs of shoes (i need them due to different regulations on what i have to wear) as well as a mouth guard, shin protectors, a rugby ball, a football, a soccer ball, a tennis racket (that i use at least once a month), goalie gloves,... i think you get the idea

to make it short: i haven't found a nice way to store them without it looking cluttered and would appreciate any tips.

and before you ask: yes, i do actually use all the stuff.

also, i only have a small flat without access to a garage, cellar, wa
