Apparently it works if you can remove the clip and index feature but I don't know what the index feature is.

So long story short, my Mavic got stuck in a tree but somewhere in the process of getting stuck and coming down, the gimbal broke. Amazingly the camera still works and you can see the feed, but the gimbal is not connected and the camera itself is only connected by the wire. I read through some threads about DJI's repair services being less than desirable so I am wondering if it is worth going through them or if a third party service can do it better. As far as I can tell, everything else is fine.

What are your thoughts on the Black Series Hera? Looking to buy one as a gift.

So my FW1A does not turn on like it should. Instead of going to the last ramped setting it instead goes to some value in the middle of the spectrum and I am not sure what I did to mess it up.

I have been carrying the small olight baton for almost a year but it completely stopped functioning and I am looking for a replacement. A major consideration of mine is how well something would handle being dropped, especially from a ladder or any great height. With the olight, one qualm I did have was the way it would heat up so quickly which was irritating if you ever had to hold it in your mouth. Also I sometimes found that its concentrated spot was a bit blinding in some working scenarios. As a replacement I was considering either the S2 Baton, Acebeam TK16, or Emisar D4V2. Love this knife but I prefer the Umnumzaan in pretty much every way so this never gets carried. Has been used to cut but still has factory edge, only been stropped.
