We have lost to Port Adelaide twice this season just falling short on both occasions, though for a good chunk of both contests we were in front and controlling the game.

Similar to last night the first half was a dominant statement. The Forward line was swimming, Ugle-Hagan was plucking marks for fun against Moore, Naughton was kicking em between the sticks for a change, West and Weightman were playing as effective smalls and Daniel was slicing through the middle with ease. The pies comeback was inevitable as we did not have the steam to withhold that onslaught late in the game.

I’ll start and say O’Donnell and O’Brien continuing to get games is damn irresponsible at this pivotal point of the season, we can still make a play for the top 4(not all is lost) but we continuously put one foot into the jaws of defeat at the selection table. James’s skills are half baked at an AFL level and O’Brien is so hit and miss with little stability around any marking contest I say we bring Khamis as a replacement.

Key points for me

1. Bevo needs to go(As soon as possible)
2. Team looks so lazy on transitional defence
3. Not a single player except for Ed Richards and Libba should walk off those grounds with their heads held high.

I think we will be heavily challenged to play the style we usually play, Libba is a known clearance machine, without him, we will be exposed and it will take players like Bont, Treloar(If Bevo plays him in the middle) and Bailey Smith to stand up and take control, if we are to have a chance.

Not sure what more a Midfielder needs to do. 22 goals as a Midfielder(more than anyone else ikn the comp) and he's in a bit of a rut form wise.
