First of all, its not really scary to people who haven't experienced it, so it's kind of a let down.
Secondly, if someone did experience it could possibly trigger PTSD.
Thirdly, it has been sooooooooo overdone.
Everyone's entitled to write what they want, but if you want people to enjoy your stories (which is how real authors make money), then please do something more original instead (not just for this, 'generic scary monster ohno', too).
So last night I had a dream, that I came out to my parents. They are still a very big part of my life since I'm in high school. I came out, and they supported me, but what happened after is what got me.
They didn't really want to talk to me anymore, they just acted really awkward around me, and it just flipped my (dream) life upside down.
But the thing is, this is scarily what might actually happen in real life. I know its better than others, because their parents would kick them out.
This entire day I've been doubting whether I'm really trans or not, and I think it might be out of fear, considering I've been thinking about it for 2+ years. Still, I'm worried that if I come out it will
In the two towers, Gandalf mentions creatures in the deep "the world is gnawed by nameless things. I will bring no report to darken the light of day."
Shelob, the daughter of Ungoliant, is compared often to darkness and extinguishing of light. Additionally, the word 'gnawed' is used. Gnawing usually occurs when one is hungry or dissatisfied, and how did Ungoliant die? Eating herself out of hunger.
Also, Gandalf has only been shown to be truly afraid when he faces a maia or greater (Balrog, Saruman, Sauron). And the only thing I can think of being down there, is maia corrupted by melkor who fled to the deeps, and it is shown that maia cannot die, so if Ungoliant is one (which is a common th
When you first arrive, you get the sensation of being watched, and if only from the corner of your eye, you see flashes of something. Though it may take days you may have believed you were insane at first, but you can tell it's not just a hallucination.
I first arrived in this godforsaken place just after noon. I must've tripped or fallen, and I wound up here. Where is here? I am not exactly sure, but I know it is not somewhere I am supposed to be. Originally, I was in stuffy yellow halls, the noise of the lights silenced my footfalls.
The first day, or at least the time on this phone stated it was, was unnerving. I was completely lost, I thought I was dreaming for many hours, before I fin
I noticed how in LOTR Sam calls Frodo Mr.Frodo, out of respect. But I think this might be a common thing since the hobbit families are so wide that referring to someone as Mr/Mrs (last name) would be very confusing. Is this correct? (I don't know a lot about hobbits).
