Hello all, I am new to this, and as much homework I can do on the internet, there are some things I'm having trouble with and was hoping someone could help me judge this. Sorry if I'm wrong and it seems like I'm making light of any of this, I'm sincere, but possibly an idiot. For reference, I'm a 31 year old male.
Last week I had an anesthesiologist struggle to place an IV in a vein that wouldn't stop rolling around under my skin, and after a brief talk, she suggested I look up EDS. Lots of this looks like a perfect match with what I've lived with my whole life, but it's hard to judge, since I seem to not have most of the main symptoms as bad as some sufferers. All of this seems contingent
Seems like a basic thing, if you're going to copy something, improve on it.
Yet 2 years after I quit Super Monday Night Combat because it had huge glaring flaws that were never addressed, Gearbox, a much better, larger, more funded and more talented company, has put out something very closely related to SMNC and hasn't addressed many of the issues that kept SMNC from being enjoyable.
So Battleborn is finally out and my games usually go like this: Queue up, get matched 2-4 minutes later. Sometimes matchmaking breaks and the counter just ticks while it finds nobody for 10+ minutes. When it does get a team, one side is all level 5-10 and the other is 20-30. There is no attempt at even matchma
Besides the obvious levels and missions that were locked down.
I feel like this game was missing a tutorial. Awesomenauts had a great hand-holding tutorial to show new players how its MOBA elements worked and how to stick with bots, so even level 1 players had some idea what they were doing. SMNC was a complex game, and with no tutorial the learning curve was way too much for most F2P players to handle. Really crippled he game and I'd hate to see that happen here.
And I know this is a pipe dream, but some sort of system to punish people would be nice. People who leave games after 2 minutes, or people who go 0:13 with 2 bot kills, keep them from joining more games for a few hours. I doubt t
Since it was announced people have been drawing connections between SMNC and Gearbox's new Battleborn. If you preorder it today on steam, you can play it's open beta for about a day before it's May 3rd release.
Battleborn is Gearbox' take on a FPS MOBA. Like SMNC, you escort bots (Which are even grouped like in SMNC, 4 little ones, one stronger one, one big one every so often), through the other teams bots and into their base. You pick one of 20 characters, all of whom have 3 skills, which you can strengthen as the match progresses. There are rebuildable turrets along the way to the enemy
I have 2 monitors. My main monitor is monitor 1, it's also where I launch the game and it's launcher from. Still the game opens fullscreen in monitor 2. There's no way to drag it and no options for which monitor to open it in. Anyone got any ideas about this?
Hi /woodworking. I've got an idea in mind for a project I'd like to try, but part of it needs some woodworking done. Basically I need a small box made, as good looking as possible, but very specific with some inlay and small details added. I'd like someone local (Boston) who I can sit down with and figure out specifications with in person. Are there woodworking clubs or groups for hobbyists? What's a good way to find one? I've tried craigslist, angies list, etc and had no luck so far. Little help?
