Couldn't find another color that looks more different for team games? Really?

PLEASE NO RECIPES OR OTHER SPOILERS - THIS IS MOSTLY A UI QUESTION
I'm enjoying the game a lot, got maybe 35-40% of the house open. On the verge of making souls++. Trying to progress as much as I can without using the wiki.
I figured out that what skill you use impacts what you can craft. Is there any easy way to find out in game what (discovered) recipes are associated with a particular skill other than slotting them into some station with a soul? I'd really prefer not to just go to the wiki a la villager favorites or fishing conditions in Stardew.
Even just seeing which skills have undiscovered Scholar or Keeper recipes would be so much easier.
Bob owns a starship with a very efficient breakdown free engine that produces constant acceleration. It also has a readout that precisely displays how much energy is remaining for the engine to use to produce acceleration. This display is connected to the IFF, which transmits at light speed.
Alice and Bob start in the same reference frame, with Alice near Bob, Charlie is 10 light years from Alice and Bob, traveling a constant .1c towards them. Bob starts piloting his ship away from Alice toward Charlie. Through constant acceleration, he eventually reaches relativistic velocity according to Alice's reference frame.
Because the speed of light is constant, Alice, Bob, and Charlie each perceiv
I started a custom league set in 1950. I played the entire regular season. Before playing any playoff games, I export the league and then import it (I was tanking and didn't want it in my GM history).
When I imported the league, every player had their contracts changed to end in 2022.
Hi folks, I was considering getting Vagrus - The Riven Realms because it seems similar to STF and I love STF. Was wondering what other folks thought of it?
He's an Officer from Kenya. No Persona Non Grata or any international relations between Kenya and India.
No one is controlling India except my one node.
I think he has Addict, but not sure. He also lost his first fight against alien fauna - pretty sure that was in India. He's won several fights since then in Pakistan.
Are there some other reasons the game won't let me assign him missions in India. Everyone else in the Resistance works there no problem.
I've played 700 odd hours, all very enjoyable, but am in a bit of a rut. I enjoy having a quasi-role playing goal to work towards and I've run out of ideas.
Things I've done include
- the Faen children's stories
- Calagan's Dog - Winning the scripted-to-happen Duel for Faen
- Estelle's Dog - Making the United Federation as strong as possible (Estelle missions after founding)
- Making Syndicates win control of the UF instead of the Houses
- Getting a level 4 trade license with all the factions
- All the era-specific big events
I'd enjoy doing some of the later era stories again, but I get so bored getting past founding the UF. I'm looking for ideas to RP so I have something to work
Steam no longer launches on my computer which runs Windows 7. It logs into my account, and I get all the way to a hardware survey request, then Steam crashes.
The computer loaded Steam less than a month ago. I've restarted the computer, uninstalled and re-installed Steam, and tried to update to Windows 10 (which also failed).
Is there a technical problem that I might be able to get repaired? The computer otherwise works, running itch.io games and web browsers just fine.
When accepting missions for passengers or mcguffins, the acceptance screen warns that enemy ships will confiscate it. I've never seen that happen, even when surrendering for inspection to factions that really don't like me.
Have I just been extraordinarily lucky? Are there circumstances where this triggers?
I've finished all the normal achievements, but am having a lot of trouble with Heir Slayers on hard. I can get to needing to intercept the heir (Blood for Blood). But I can't win the ship fight (or any crew combats, to be honest).
I've tried to get enough money to get a good enough ship, well equipped - but there's only so much time, no matter how much I slow walk the story missions.
Advice please?
In the league I'm playing, all the rookies are initially asking for 1 yr 500k contracts. Obviously, that's what the AI is signing them for. So free agency is a bit of a mess.
Possibly related, but AI signing players does not seem to be writing correctly to the salary table on the player page.
For some reason, colonies further from Earth have less iron, and it gets worse the further from Earth. This causes nutritional and other social problems. Protagonist is son of the leader of an early colony who is leading movement to fix things. Kinda like Dune for kids.
I vaguely recall protag was genetically engineered because his mother kept having miscarriages due to lack of iron. Maybe in secret from the father (ie secretive trip off world while pregnant).
Read it in the early or mid 1990s. Maybe about the same time I read Prince Ombra.
It's totally cool how the AI assigns to the depth chart based on skill at the position, not official position. But it does make it hard to see at a glance whether I've balanced the roster correctly. And AFAICT, there's no way to change a player's position outside of God mode. Is there anything going on under the hood with assigned position like yr-to-yr progression, play simulation, or injury risk? It appears that the game calculates ability and potential at a position already, without regard to position assigned.
The CB who won defensive RoY by rushing for ~750 yards (while also playing nickle corner IIRC) is amusing, but something I'd like to be able to change at least for players on my
