Since the latest beta firmware release, my Sleepbuds have been working much better for me, and the "switch to Sleep mode ambiance when I fall asleep" is working well for my routine. I am really happy with the experience now.

The question I have is, once sleep mode has been activated, is there any way to return to Bluetooth streaming mode without putting the earbuds back into the case? If I launch the Ozlo app it doesn't appear to reconnect to the buds without them being in the case. On the Ankers you could do this by "double tapping" the left earbud, but there are no controls on the Sleepbuds. Tapping the closed case (which I think does respond to taps?) would be a fine way to do this,

ffmpeg experts of reddit, I would love some advice.

I am looking to re-encode some 4K HDR10 HEVC video (with Subtitles) to 1080P HDR10 HEVC (w/subtitles burned in) with ffmpeg using hardware encode/decode that preserves the HDR10 metadata of the original file in the process. Hardware encoder device could be either nvidia or intel/vaapi.

It seems like HDR metadata passthrough should be viable in current versions of ffmpeg, but I haven't been able to figure it out. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Hello, I'm very new on my journey to setup a radio station based on Azuracast. I've got my media loaded, filled up a default playlist for the AutoDJ and got things started, and so far so good.

The one thing I would love to change however is on the Public page for the station, it shows the Album Art, Track Name, and Artist Name. In my case all music playing is from the same artist, so I'd prefer to show Album Art, Album Name and Track Name. Is there any way customize the player like this?

Thanks for any help!

So on a new setup of PhotoPrism the initial run of Face Recognition has created a single cluster for both my son and my daughter. As you can image, most of our thousands of photos includes one or both of them, so individually rejecting photos as bad match is not really viable (the cluster total is something like 5,500 files).

Is there anything I can do to improve this, any settings to Face Rec that can be tuned? Thanks in advance for any advice.

I know it is early days, but I have been tinkering with my Intel ARC GPU's hardware AV1 encoder with ffmpeg. One thing I haven't been able to figure out is how to pass HDR10 mastering metadata to an encoded HDR file when encoding with the av1_qsv encoder.

With svt-av1 you can use the -svtav1-params command line option to provide all the metadata, but I don't see an equivalent option for av1_qsv:

av1_qsv encoder AVOptions:
  -async_depth <int> E..V....... Maximum processing parallelism (from 1 to INT_MAX) (default 4)
  -preset <int> E..V....... (from 0 to 7) (default 0)
     veryfast 7 E..V.......

I've been super happy with my Nginx Reverse Proxy setup, but I'm struggling to solve an issue with Real IP that I hoping someone here might have insight to.

My configuration is as follows:
{internet} -> Cloudflare (DNS-only) -> nginx proxy in a docker -> hosted service (AdGuard Home in this case)

When I access the service from the internet the service is able to correctly see the the client ip from the request, but when I access the service from the local LAN (though the proxied fqdn url) the client ip is always reported as the ip of the server hosting the NPM container.

Is there anything I can do to also forward/resolve the actual client lan ip when accessing a proxied site f

As a new QNAP NAS user, I'm trying to learn more about how their Network & Virtual Switch, QVPN Service and Contain Station can work together to accomplish a few different tasks. Consider the following (super crude, sorry) diagram:

QNAP VPN Server and container client routing

Here is what I'm trying to accomplish:

  1. Host a VPN server to allow remote access to my NAS and Local Area Network (with internet traffic routed through my LAN gateway for connected clients)
  2. Establish a VPN client connection to Mullvad from QVPN and route traffic f

Hi there. I'm in the process of setting up a new QNAP nas and had a question about service accounts. I have a few accounts I'm creating that are for services that need specific file server (smb) access, but that I'd like to be able to prevent from being able to login to the webUI, and prevent from having a "home" share folder created. Is that possible?

Hello. I'm trying to figure out a weird issue and could use some advice. On my ubuntu server, I have a nas mounted to the path: '/nas/files', and a docker container with a volume mapping to -v '/nas/files:/files' in the docker config.

This has been working fine for a long time, but recently I noticed the container was not writing files to the nas as expected, but also wasn't reporting any errors. As I investigated, I could see the share was properly mounted in the hostos, but when a exec-ed into the container, the /files path had different files within it. I initially thought the volume map was broken or maybe there was a permissions issue, but couldn't find an obvious issue.

Hello, I am new to Qnap and setting up a 12 HDD server that also has 2 M.2 NVME SSD (with a 10gbe nic) for video production work. I'm planning to use the QuTS Hero ZFS firmware.

I had originally planned to setup the system with the main RAID6 storage pool across the 12 HDDs and then use the 2 SSD drives as cache, but looking at some of the setup and best practice videos (like this: https://youtu.be/kS8HIvQRy2k) it sounds like a better approach would be to setup a Raid1 Storage Pool for the System on the SSDs and go without SSD caching for the HDDs.

Any thoughts? Would a system storage pool be a better approach? While the system will primarily be for servin
