Since CRIS has gone, I’m not sure where I can check what the outcome of my TORs have been. Anyone know where I can check?

My car updated to 2025.2.8 overnight and noticed a red X on the dash cam. Restart and format doesn’t work. Anyone else have the same issue after the update?

forgive me if this sounds really dumb. But I have a few questions i’m hoping you guys would be able to answer. I’m a Police Officer but haven’t had the opportunity to speak to someone on guard duties.

1. When you’re on say buckingham palace, are the guns you carry loaded?

2. If so, or at any point your guns would be loaded in the UK, what would happen if you were to shoot someone? Not necessarily terror related as such. Say you see someone stabbing another? Are you allowed to shoot? Law states you can in saving life and limb but it’s not something i’ve thought about before from your perspective.

Would you be under investigation? would it be lengthy like ours?

I bought an EVE 4 the other day and during my game the battery clip came off and i’ve lost it. I’m trying to find one online but can’t seem to find any.

I’ve found a battery extender for the following guns:

• ARP9
• KWA TK45 Ronin
• Trident Mk2 PDW
• AREA M-SERIES

Can you pls let me know if any of these will fit? I’m assuming the KWA one should?

I got my start date in November and I’m reading through the forms they’ve sent me and I’ve got a few questions

1. is there anything I need to take or buy before?
2. it says ‘You will be issued with a Police Constable Warrant card as soon as practical after your appointment.’ - when will this be?
3. id ideally like to be based around BCU West/South West but I do like action. Any recommended boroughs?

My idiot of a brother has been taken to court for driving without due care and attention. I have my Day 2 in two weeks and vetting will be sent off after this. Will this affect me in anyway? I.E, delayed start date or my whole application being rejected because it’s something I didn’t declare?

I’m reading the PACE Book as I have my training fairly shortly.

Under S1 it mentions about stop and search.

If you have suspicion or intelligence that someone may have a prohibited article, do you detain them under S1 of the PACE Act and state you expect to find a prohibited article?

If not, are there other sections you can detain them under?

(I don’t have the search function, or can’t find it. Is there a ‘cheat sheet’ of sections that are commonly used that I can reference?)
