My idiot of a brother has been taken to court for driving without due care and attention. I have my Day 2 in two weeks and vetting will be sent off after this. Will this affect me in anyway? I.E, delayed start date or my whole application being rejected because it’s something I didn’t declare?

Ring then and make them aware - demonstrates your honesty quite well!
If it's a simple driving without fire care and attention the chances of it affecting you are close to zero - that's not really a high risk crime.
If he was in a stolen vehicle, or being pursued by police, or dealing drugs then they might look at it more closely!

Called recruitment and was told to send an email to the enquires.policejobs email. This is the email you get your updates from.
I would ring them and make them aware asap. It shouldn't affect your application providing you're upfront and honest. If you don't tell them of any changes they will likely take this as an integrity issue.

I’d you can’t find a contact number, drop them an email using the same address you used for the vetting documents. It shouldn’t cause you any problems, but still let them know ASAP
