My car was written off by someone else. So I've sort of been given the short end of the stick.. I've made a claim to my insurance company and I'm waiting for an offer on the car, but as I understand my excess (£850 first time driver) will be subtracted from whatever I receive. How can I get the other party to pay for my losses for a) travel expenses incurred b) compensation to cover amount deducted from my insurance excess. I'm not greedy I just want my money back and my inconveniences sorted. Will I need a soliciter? Will the RTC cause me to have a higher premium in the future?

She's my best mate and I've been missing her so much. I've kept myself busy and sane for the past few weeks and I've missed her so much in the times where I relax so now I just want to see her. I've lasted so long trying to put off the pining but I feel so close to the finish line and now the minutes are going so slowly lol. Has anyone else gone through this tension of waiting around for a loved one to come back?
Edit: sorry if I didn't reply to you there's so many parent comments and it's my first time with a big thread . Respect to everyone for the kind words 😊 it seems the emotion of imminently seeing a SO after being away is common and shared between all of us!

I've bought 2 items on the same day from the same e-shop. One was delivered yesterday and I expected the other to be delivered today but it wasn't. I assume that parcel is sitting at the post office and wasn't sent out for delivery this morning. Is there any way I can go down there and pick it up? Is it possible?

Come we make our own version not some random persons view. Add suggestions in the document to who should go where. By the end we should have a decent list where ppl are in agreement.
If you think someone is in the wrong category, write their name where you think it should go. Comment in this thread who you swapped.
hopefully this works

My situation is that I feel I can learn 2 out of 3 of my A2 classes at home. I had to learn my psychology last year myself bc my teacher was shit and got fired a month before the exam. I ended up getting an A. This year I feel like I'm just wasting my time by going into college, I'm only just learning content from CGP guides/textbooks anyway. A teacher is helpful sometimes but I don't benefit from doing silly tasks or listening to useless information. It's just a better use of my time, I'm not sure how my college would react or my parents for that matter.
Just wondering if anybody was in a similar situation and decided to home school themselves or is thinking about it too?
At the beginning of this year I had planned to travel from September 2017 until I wanted to come back. I wrote out a basic plan of where I wanted to go and did rough finances. Fastforward 9 months and I just remembered I want to travel next year.
However now I'm in a committed relationship and I am applying to start university next year. The issue I have is that if I were to travel, alone, then I would miss my girlfriend, I don't think I could go months on end without spending time with her. I wanted to do the travelling to experience the world and meet loads of people. If I was committed to the idea, I could postpone university for a year but it still leaves me with the issue that I don't
So I have been taking Huperzine A and have noticed the effects. I was taking 100mg tablets and now I need to order more. I took 1 tablet once a day on irregular occasions (mostly days where I studied or attended college). Should I increase the dosage to 200mg? Will I notice any increased effects? Will my memory retention become even better?
I want to take advantage of the steam discounts, but after reading it seems AD is half worth it as a DLC. Has the bugs/problems with it been hotfixed or left untouched? Should I get it regardless?
Just an idea to help clear up the sub. For the past few years when using the search bar for say "Hazard" there'd be numerous posts from previous years, adding clutter and confusion. I suggest before this season starts, to purge all posts not related to this season (pre June)
I've used a small range of drugs and none consistently apart from weed and alcohol. My girlfriend had her bro and sis drop off the face of the earth due to addiction. This has made her hate me when I'm on drugs (not drink surprisingly(!) as she is a heavy drinker) I try convince her that I'm responsible enough to know my limits and am always in safe hands whenever I drop any substance.
There is a rave this weekend so I want to take Mandy and I want to drop acid the week following as I've got a week off work.
She will not be happy and I want to know how I can tell her or make her understand that I do drugs , I'm safe , please accept it. Anybody been in my situation? Thanks
