Hello! I'm a MLA student looking to find an internship for the upcoming summer.

Many of the firms I'm interested in interning at don't post internship applications. Does anyone have any tips for emailing firms with the intention of securing an internship? Should I include my resume and portfolio in the first email?

I recently did some aquafaba baking and ended up with a bunch of chickpeas. The thing is- I really don’t like the taste of chickpeas!!

I don’t wanna waste them so I need to think of some recipes that aren’t very chickpea-y. Last time, I think I made some chickpea flour (I forgot what I ended up making with that lol). The only thing I can think of is chana masala!

Hello! I’ve been craving tres leches recently but every vegan recipe I find has coconut milk or coconut cream. I really don’t like the taste of coconut and the flavor is so overpowering to me.

Does anyone have a recipe or a substitution idea for a tres leches without coconut milk?

I have a monstera that I got back in August. It looks really healthy right now despite a few first-time monstera owner struggles along the way. Ever since I got a grow light for it, it has been exploding with new growth, but only about 50% of the leaves are fenestrated. It has 4 unfurled leaves right now and none of them look like they will be fenestrated. I’m currently working on getting it pole trained too.

What can I do to help encourage more fenestration?

Fertilizer? What ratio?

I’ve heard that maybe a humidifier can help with that but most I’ve seen are pretty pricey. Are there any under $35 that you would recommend?

I’m trying to cut down on grocery waste. One of my issues is that I usually buy frozen vegetables so I can go longer between shopping trips. I’ve been thinking of just freezing fresh vegetables instead of buying frozen bags.

What are the best options for freezer storage?

I’m interested in getting the NÄVLINGE floor lamp, but I want to use it with my own lightbulb. The website says it comes with one, but I was wondering if I can just take it out and put mine in or is it made to only fit one specific type of lightbulb in it?
