TL;DR: We need an automated method (e.g. Apache plugin) for rejecting access to a service based on the connecting ISP (and their behavior regarding network neutrality.

--

Given the fact that the FCC is bent on deregulating network neutrality for internet providers, We the People need a direct and targeted response to the threat of providers that fail to respect the spirit of network neutrality.

This response would be most effectively implemented as a software plugin for Web server software such as Apache or IIS. Simply enough, if the IP address of the client connecting belongs to a given ISP in a list curated by an organization such as the Electronic Frontier Foundation, then access is re

I just replaced the thermistor on my Maker Select v2, and after powering the unit back on, none of the steppers are moving in the negative direction on their respective axes. All three axes are affected, almost as if all three end-stop switches are triggered at all times. Home X/Y/Z/All is useless and only moves a bit in the positive direction.

I have no idea what's wrong, and everything was working perfectly (except the thermistor) the last time I powered on the printer.

Help?

I want to start a webcast show with a skeleton crew. Does anyone personally recommend a budget camera that permits external control? (Prefer: start/stop recording, focus, and zoom, in that order.)

Is there a standard interface for consumer cameras that would permit me to engineer a set of remote-controlled camera tripods, all managed by an app? I can do the hardware and software if the interface to cheap, good-enough cameras is usable. Anyone in the community know cameras and can suggest a [set of] models?

Thanks!

I compiled a custom kernel from 4.13.0-rc4 because I needed to patch a driver.

Now, I can't get the nVidia kernel modules to start with the kernel I compiled. I know there are several things that might cause this, but I don't know how to fix them.

How do I make sure that the nVidia modules distributed with 4.13 kernel will work with a custom-compiled 4.13 kernel? I assume it's just a libc mismatch, but it could be anything, and I don't know what version was used to compile the nVidia modules, so compiling the kernel with the same toolchain is proving difficult.

TL;DR Non-violent protest against tyranny by staging a national financial sit-in.

It is becoming increasingly obvious that people in the United States are being alienated by the decisions of our government. Statistical analysis indicates that our representatives are not representing the general public. They are actively hostile to our quality of life, and they are selling our future for a pittance. It is for these reasons that we must take action.

I see a lot of people who are upset but don't know what to do about it. They spend their days working jobs, and their nights worrying, and are forced to pay a significant portion of what they earn into the system that keeps them locked in a l

I've been finding myself checking what devices are supported, and I wanted to know if there's a place I can check for a list of devices that will eventually be supported.

I'd imagine there are some devices that are just too old to actively support and may be deprecated, but there are all too many devices that don't seem old enough to be retired and don't (yet) appear on the list of active builds.

Is there an official list?

Title says most of it. I know I can get an OrangeRC Tx module for DSM2 and put it on a 9X/R, but maybe I can ditch DSM altogether and go with a different PPM signal.

What are your thoughts on price, features, and hackability?
