I need a staring point. A recently departed co-worker ran a process using Big Query billed to himself. I can access the project and see the tables, but the refreshes are a concern. When I approach IT with this, how do I ask for this? Do I need them to access his google cloud account as him? What are some things I should be looking out for?

People usually have nice things to say about my huskies. This morning, I took an unusual route. We came upon on house with an usually immaculate lawn. There were no leaves on the lawn, but the sidewalk was ankle-deep with leaves. We were walking on the sidewalk. The homeowner said, "Don't let them piss on my lawn. It'll burn it." And I said, "OK, I won't, sir. Did you see them do that?" "I said don't let them."

This is weird, right? Does a homeowner have a legal recourse against the dog owner if a dog urinates on the easement?

In the corner of the vendor hall, there was a sound studio with transparent walls. I found this odd. There's no way for the people inside to meaningfully interact with anyone or anything on the floor. What's the point? Is it important to say you're reporting from the floor at Gencon? Or is this meant to entertain the physical attendees? People spent money to make this happen, but I don't see the value. Can anyone suggest a different angle or at least commiserate on my wonder?

My significant opponent has rescued a hoard of low-value Magic: The Gathering cards over the years. She's given many away, but there still might be a few thousand cards remaining. I don't care for the pay-to-win aspect, or the actual gameplay of Magic. (I realize at high levels interesting decisions are made during play, but to me, the actual play is more of an extended resolution phase and the interesting parts are in the deck construction.) Is there fun in drafting from a cube for a board-gamer? Would you ever choose Magic over playing Brass, Spirit Island or Arkham Horror: The Card Game?
