Broken up for over a year, no contact for three months because talking to him was bad for my mental health. Didn't ever make it clear that I was going no contact I just blocked him on facebook and on my phone and was done with it. The context for all this is complicated and messy and awful but I don't feel like typing it all out. He emailed me a really innocuous peace offering sort of email, just a link to some cute wallpapers, like everything was normal. I didn't realize how much anxiety I had wrapped up in communicating with him until seeing his name in my inbox almost sparked a panic attack. I don't want it to happen again, but I also don't want to block his email address for various reas

My boyfriend and I have been together for a year and a half and have been living together since about 3 months in. It was much sooner than we probably should have but circumstances forced our hand and honestly it worked out great; we make great roommates and have excellent communication skills. We need to move a couple of towns over for career reasons in August, and since boyfriend is working a summer job with minimal Internet access I'm doing most of the legwork.

Here's the issue; the town we are moving to is very small with extremely limited options. My perspective is that we need to make ourselves as desirable as possible to potential landlords, and for the most part that is easy. We hav

I suffer from severe but very situational specific social anxiety. My primary care doctor asked me if I had ever considered benzos somewhat in passing and has referred me to a psychiatrist who I am going to see next week. Obviously I'll discuss this with them but I would like some idea of what I'm getting into before I put it on the table for discussion. The situations where I would want to hypothetically use a benzo to calm down happen once a week at most. Is once a week use a thing? Will it be hard to limit it to once a week? And do you get all of the issues associated with long term daily benzo use if you aren't using it every day? Thanks in advance.

So for this post I need to provide a little background, I'll try to keep it short. When I was 19 I got into a long distance relationship with somebody. The details aren't too relevant because we aren't together anymore, but 3/4 years of that was long distance. I remember I used to feel almost as though I switched to "off" when we were away from each other, probably a big part of that was that I had such severe depression and simply didn't get out of bed. When I was around him I came alive again and felt more like a normal person.

Shortly after that relationship ended I met my current boyfriend and it was sort of the reverse of a long distance relationship; we met at a summer camp and got to

Please note that this is within the state of California, for context.

Our office is extremely cold, and our employees have utilized personal heaters for years without incident (as far as I can tell, but i have only been here for a few months so who knows). Yesterday one of the heaters blew out a fuse which building management had to come and fix. Today one of the cubicle's outlet and light went out, possibly because of another heater but I'm honestly not sure. I contacted building management to repair it, they told me that heaters are not allowed and they will confiscate any that they find.

Please note that they are the company that my own company leases the office space from, they are NOT

I'm not even really sure how to ask this question, and there's no good story to go with it really so I'm sure it won't get a lot of attention in this subreddit. Nonetheless I'll ask it anyway.

My bf and I are very much "bros" and I'm not sure if that's normal or something that will make the relationship go boring and stale or what. My last relationship was 4 years of this stupidly passionate dramatic thing and the ups were really up but the downs were so down that I had a nervous breakdown and cried almost all the time so I don't know if I really want to do that again.

This relationship isn't a novel-worthy romance (except how we met, which was cute) but I love the guy. He's really kind an
