I moved from a rural market area where it was competitive but manageable. I would hear people complain about "the bots stealing my routes".... and I would chastise them for it. I moved to another more metropolitan area and was hoping that work would be better. There are dozen outlets in my area. There's also a HUGE Amazon logistics complex. Amazon.com orders (which is what I primarily did) are practically non-existent. Sub-Same-Day seem to be the best paying in this area... when you can grab one. Fresh is reasonable option here but the station is too far away for me to make worth my while.

In about a month's time, I was able to figure out when was the best time to pic

Okay... so I just got a new iPhone after years of being on a Pixel phone. And before we go further... no I didn't get a Pixel 7 because Pixel phones and Android 13 are buggy now. Anyway, I set everything up on my new phone and Amazon Flex is giving me constant notifications... like several in a single hour. They're not important updates... just the standard: "Blocks Available - Get them before they're gone."

Since I don't work for base pay and I have another gig as well, many of these are notifications are irrelevant to me. I tried to adjust my notifications but the Flex app didn't like that. It wouldn't let me log in and wanted me to set my notifications back. I tried setting my filters bu

I'm done with my Pixel 6. The overheating and dropped data are just too much for me. I use this phone for business and literally lost out on $75 because it randomly lost internet connection (once again). I never had this problem with my Pixel 3a. Sure, the battery life on the Pixel 6 was good and I liked the options but it didn't mean squat if every time I needed to load up a map, the internet crashed on me. I put up with it for awhile. I'd make the tweak adjustments. I even kept it off WiFi (and thus burning my data). I'd reboot and reset the data connections. Then, the damn thing would get too hot and decide not to do anything. Waited for 40 minutes and it cost me nearly $100 because I cou

I'm moving back to Vegas soon. I've done gig work there and it was good for me. For the most part, Vegas has a good tipping culture. I've been doing Flex out of a small warehouse that is strictly logistics.

So what's the Vegas market like there in regards to Amazon Flex?

Might be moving (back) to Vegas soon. I've done other gig apps there but not Flex. Been working from a very small Amazon.com Logistics Warehouse (WSP1) and it's been okay. I definitely like doing Flex over food delivery and rideshare. I noticed that you have a few options for delivery with Amazon. I'm thinking that I might stick with logistics until I have a better idea of how SSD works and I've heard too many horror stories about WF... So here's my questions:

  • What are the "Retail Deliveries" and how do they work?
  • What's the difference between SSD and Prime Now?
  • How do you get your route at DLV4 (Henderson)?

Thanks for your help!

I'm very new to Rooting and recently updated my side gig Pixel 3a to a Pixel 6. Had a hard time activating it with my carrier and as it turns out, my new phone is locked and my carrier cannot unlock it. I'm told that it's possible to unlock by rooting the phone but one of the side effects from rooting it is that banking apps don't work. Looking to find the most effective method of rooting my Pixel 6 without losing some of the things that I like to do most with my phone. Any help will do, thanks!

Update:

Talked to the seller, they weren't very helpful. All sales final... yah, yah, yah... Decided to do some deep research and through some help here, figured out that I needed to just unlock th

I generally buy new and use Amazon or through the store direct. I've bought some things through EBay but it's often hit or miss... Started cruising for used gear and Reverb keeps popping up... I've never used it before and was wondering how reputable it is.

Okay... so, I've been doing this DJ thing for 30+ years. The last 20 years or so, I've been mostly a trance, house, techno DJ (with some retro 80s mixed in). In recent years I've been really into the retro sounding stuff and synthwave. Fun to play with but not much a market for that, though.

So I'm thinking of a rebrand... or at least a side-chain rebrand.

I'm looking to get into the realm of becoming a mash-up/hip-hop/Latin DJ... For reference, some of my inspiration comes from DJs like: AM (RIP), Jazzy Jeff, Z-Trip, Funkmaster Flex, Fatboy Slim. (Google that sh*t if you must.).

What I'm looking for is some suggestion for a decent controller to mix things up. I'm not looking to re

I was looking to relocate into my own personal space. Have a solid rental history. Decent credit. Substantial income. Wasn't looking to get a "luxury" apartment because I live a busy lifestyle (two jobs, gym membership, frequent traveler, etc.). My main job is in Fayetteville so I applied around for apartments around here. The catch is that I have a really well behaved indoor senior cat and I'm not looking for a place that has a huge initial deposit.

I've seen plenty of Lindsey apartment communities advertised and some were nice and some were really bad. I looked at one of the nicer ones (with a golf course) and was told that there was a two month waiting list. I asked to be put on that li

I've been in the mix for a long time. It's been literally a decade since I've purchased new headphones. I've noticed quite a few that have ditched their "cans" for in-ear monitors? I'm curious as to performance, comfort, and just what other DJ prefer and use these days!
