I'm an occasional driver, and an occasional cyclist. I think I'm a fairly responsible cyclist, I stop behind open streetcar doors because its what I'm supposed to do, but it is tempting to go when there is NOTHING there but the door just hasn't closed yet (usually someone paying their fare very slowly. This, I never understood. You know how much it costs, you know you will pay it, just have it ready in your hand you!).

However, I feel its actually safer for everyone involved if cyclists were allowed to just slowly pass open doors once the initial rush of people exchanging is finished.

It's that time of year soon, any clothing choice tips for keeping cool? We have no uniform for pants and usually I just wear regular cotton shorts, but I was thinking of trying some athletic "stay cool" "dryfit" style shorts. Was browsing a golf store and saw a bunch of "stay cool" clothing but not being a golfer (or very athletic), I've never tried them.

Anyone have experience with these?

I've used AirBNB a few times for regular city places, but I'm wondering how other people feel about using it for cottages. Are prices comparable to other websites? This is the first time I have ever rented a cottage, looking for any tips that you could offer as well! The one I am looking at seems midpriced for what I see on AirBNB, about $400/night after all the taxes and fees, looking for 3 nights.

Its essential to me for one of my prep jobs, but it keeps dulling so fast and they are expensive. Anyone know of a way to sharpen this blade or even replace just the blade itself? It looks like there are holes to screw it in place, but its welded or something in place with no screws when I get them.

Anyone have any luck with anything? I can't request a new one so often....

Sorry I am at home, so I don't know the correct terms for the settings, but our machine has three. The first is obviously how strong the vacuum is. The other two...I have no idea what they do and just don't touch them. What do they do and how should I be using them to my advantage?

Every now and then the tape blows out at the edges of the sealing bar and we replace it. After a while, the metal strip under the sealing bar has to be replaced or it keeps blowing out tape.

I've found that when the tape blows out, instead of changing it for a new one, I can use it two more times by reusing the tape but using the top half and bottom half of the tape.

Flipping through netflix, passed by this a few times as they only recommended it 2/5 for me. One time I stopped on it and noticed there were many Japanese actors but it didnt appear to be a Japanese movie, so i looked it up and it had a solid metacritic score so gave it a shot.

I loved this movie! A mystery novel author involved in a mysterious plot. Many twists and turns but nothing felt outlandish or forced. I felt everything progressed at a great pace.

I hope some of you enjoy this movie as much as I did.
