Hey y'all! I recently got a really bad sprain in the ball of my foot and am just now prepping to go back to work, but I don't have any orthopedist approved work shoes and was wondering if y'all have any recommendations.

I work in a prison and am on my feet 8 hours a day, either walking around the campus or standing for an hour+ at a time doing classes. I can't go back until I'm given clearance with no restrictions from my doctor (so sitting down more frequently isn't an option unfortunately) but my doctor said that the healing process is going to be gradual, and when I go back I need different shoes that the ones I normally wear every day.

Our cat was making an absolute MESS tracking clay litter everywhere and scratched his eye on it twice, so we decided to switch to litter pellets.

We got the breeze system, which came with a little trial bag of pellets, and a big bag of pine pellets to use after. It was awesome for a few days! But now that we've filled the box with the pine pellets, we've discovered that our little man is allergic :(

Are there any horse pellet brands that are not made of pine? Or an affordable pellet alternative?

I know bristle brushes are the standard for oil painting, but I don't use animal products so I'm on the hunt for good quality synthetics.

I've been researching brushes and from what I understand, they won't hold up as well as natural bristled brushes, and the quality of synthetic bristles doesn't vary as wildly between brands as much as natural fibers do. That being said, I have a few questions about synthetics:

•How long do synthetic brushes usua

98'er here. I recently switched from a career in education to a more "professional" environment and now have a job that involves speaking in meetings with high-level administrators. All of my knowledge of how meetings like that run came from movies/TV and I was under the impression that it would be a strictly professional environment; my experience has been very different.

I'm on one team that's 50/50 Gen X/Gen Z and more often than not, when asked for official assessments, us younger folk will say something along the lines of "bro is straight up crashing out right now." The older team members aren't as relaxed with their language, but will still use slang in meetings.
