My partner and I are preparing to bring a cat into our apartment. We would be first time car owners. Given that we live in a city apartment and will often be gone during the day for work, we are hoping for a cat that is on the quieter/more reserved side and is ok with being left alone, but is still affectionate and friendly when interacted with. I know there’s only so much we can control, but we’re trying to do what gives us the best chance for a good fit.
