r/declutter•

This year I’ve been trying to slowly declutter the house. We’ve moved a few times and things have accumulated. Today, I tacked a paper doom pile from 2021! It’s decluttered (AND papers shredded!) and I was able to move other things I want to keep into that closet space. I feel like I accomplished so much even though it looks like so little has been accomplished, haha.

Does anyone that takes a daily allergy med also take an antihistamine in weeks 3 and 4 to help with their PMDD? Does it help you? I take a daily xyzal but I’m wonder if additional antihistamines might help. I’m not sure what to take though.

We sleep-trained using loosely followed TCB. We’re moving time zones next month (flying) and will be losing 8 hours. Going forward in time took about a week or so at 2 months. Any tips or tricks for going back in time? Should we start before we move? Should we try and let LO sleep through it or immediately revert to the new timezone schedule? How do we maintain the sleep training as much as possible? LO will be 7months.

Has anyone used them? I found some by SimplyLily called “Lily padz”. Anyone recommendations regarding them? Do they work? I’m 4.5 months in and still using disposable pads. I haven’t liked the bamboo ones I’ve tried but am interested in some other kind of reusable ones. Any advice?

r/quilting•

I appear to be in nesting mode with my current pregnancy and I want to make a quilt. I haven’t quilted anything yet so I want to start out with something easy. I figure the quilt might be done by the time she gets married, lol. Rail fence patterns seem doable and I have a history of unfinished projects so starting small seems to be a good idea. Placemats are what I have landed on. Where can I find a Rail Fence Placemat pattern? Google isn’t bringing any of them up, except to buy the completed product. Are they terrible to make? Am I searching with incorrect terminology?

I’m 23 weeks and having some pitting edema. So normal, but a little early. My Doc wants me to do a low salt diet for the weekend to see if it helps before progressing to look at other things. I’m generally like to eat everything but right now the idea of chicken and fish turns me green. (Thanks baby) I’ve been mostly eating meats like ground turkey in different forms and ground beef. I have genetically high cholesterol so I’m supposed to be on a high fiber/low fat diet anyways and now I just am not sure what to eat. Since I’ve been pregnant I’ve sort of just gone with whatever I can keep down. She says I need to avoid sauces, boxes and packages. I work 10 hrs a day so I’m in need of quick an
