Bruh it's even worse than dire claw. It's really baffling how every new batch of new moves gives us even more RNG involved. I guess Game freak really wants for its game to never be truly competitive.

To elaborate a little bit: if when I have to calc in a match I consider it to be a flat 160BP move than hydrapple is broken. You can't have these stats, Regen and a 160 BO move. If I consider it to be a 80BP love there is always the possibility (same as scald) for it to destroy my switch in. It's terrible, unfun and uncompetitive imo

Yeah funny hydra goes fickle beam but the move is a fucking nightmare

In my opinion the best type comb is water/fairy

It has a goated set of resistances (water, ice, fire, dark, fighting, bug, dragon) and great set of STABS (resisted only by 10 fully evolved pokemon)

The only types I can see being on par or slightly better are steel/ghost (STAB resisted by 12 fully evolved mons and 11 resistances, but weaknesses to very common offensive types like ground, fire, ghost and dark makes it frailer than it seems imo), ground/fairy (STAB resisted by 9 mons, 6 resistances), ground/flying ( STAB resisted by 12 mons, 5 resistances). I know that 5 or 6 resistances doesn't seem like a lot compared to steel/x combinations that often have 10+, but steel being weak to com

Listen up. I know that it seems strange but [[Malcolm, keen-eyed navigator]] and [[Breeches, brazen plunderer]] are kinda really good togheter.

First off, having Malcolm + red means having access to a 1 card combo with [[Glint Horn Buccaneer]]. You can jam [[curiosity]] and [[niv-mizzet]] there too (you'll see why I think Niv is a good card here).

Just with your 2 commanders you can generat +2 card advantage and +2 tresures each combat step, as they have both some kind of evasion. Add to that a lot of very good pirates in [[Dockside]], [[Breeches, eager pillager]], [[Ragavan]], [[Captain lannery storm]] that generate all some form of treasure or card a

Hello guys, sorry to bother with my inexperience but I have a session coming up in which my party has to explore the temple of alcazotz (for those familiar with the mtg-ixalan lore) to recover an ancient artifact. The thing is, in the adventure I'm using as reference (X marks the spot) there is nothing about this dungeon, no map, no resource, nothing, and I want this dungeon to be an important step of the campaign, meaning cool magic items, riches, fights, traps and all these kool thingz. I have NO clue about where to find such a dungeon and too little time and experience to come up with something on my own. Is there something, some resource or even the full dungeon I can use with some minor

Yes, it's mostly a 3 cards combo but it has so much more redundancy, versatility and resilience that it kinda makes up for that. If you have enough mana or cards in the graveyard it's easily a 2 cards combo (with demonic tutor for example), or even a 1 card combo (in grixis you "only" need 3RBB(U/B) and 9 cards in the GY). It works best with LED, but can potentially work with lotus petal, birgi, jeska's will...

It self protects cause it lets you cast counters.

Yes it folds to graveyard hate (technically thoracle folds to hushbringer), both fold to rule of law, although thoracle goes under deafening silence.

But the best thing is that every single card of that combo is a great card by itse

Guys I'm desperate. There is this campaign I'm mastering and one (very important) NPC is this young woman in her early 30s, wizard which I want to be kind of ugly, maybe crooked nose, ugly scars on her face, cause she's been through some real shit. I can't find ANYTHING to show my players this character cause I can't find anything on the internet, I am really shitty at drawing and generted art (which I kinda despise but am desperate enogugh to use) is even worse than a google search. It's always either a top model or an old hag.

Does anyone know if and/or where I can find something?

Hey guys! I'm a DM mastering his first (5e) campaign, and the first session is coming. There is a fight in a prison that I had to came up cause the party is 5 level 2 PGs. Classes are divination wizard, circle of the moon druid, tempest cleric, fighter and monk. The wizard is a seasoned player but the other are all novices (the druid has played bg3, the fighter and the cleric have played very little, the monk is completely new). Having a circle of the moon druid (which in my experience is one of the most broken builds at level 2) kinda throws me off and to add to the injury the wizard is very optimized, I'm talking 6 cantrips at LV 2, variant human with telekinesis (I vetoed lucky). I want t

I had this "who let bro cook" team with drifblim+shiftry lead (tailwind+trick room+imprison+helping hand drifblim, tailwind+fake out+knock off+explosion shiftry) that basically sets up tailwind, negates trick room, gets shiftry to +1 +helping hand and than explodes, with drifblim still alive to gift its helping hands to the funny calc fish. It's actually kinda effective, but the first time against a tailwind torn (I'm pretty new to VGC) I was feeling a genius for the sequence fake out on tornadus, imprison on drifblim. Welp, turns out torn runs covert cloak so that didnt work at all. But that left me thinking if there is an actual way to outright stop torn's tailwind and not just play around

Hey guys I've a question for you. I was in the middle of studying a bit the power set of any set as a boolean ring with the symmetric difference and the intersection as operations without using any resource or help as an exercise. I was thinking of what could these rings ideals be and I came to the conclusion that the ideal generated by an element of P(X) must be the power set of that element. I also came to the conclusion that P(X) is a local ring and X is the only invertible element.

I was trying to now verify if the ring is noetherian or a p.i.d. but I'm kind of stuck on that.
I can kinda easily see it be non-noetherian (if X is infinite) as I can take the chain <An> with A0

Ogerpon base and teal, ursaluna, great tusk, dozo, samu, manaphy, garg

This is only a small list of top tier mons shaymin absolutely FARMS on.

Jokes aside, it's really good, bulky, with reliable recovery and with a bonkers move. I swear guys it's strong

This gen OU is unplayable. Only setup sweepers. I faced a team with dragonite, manaphy, cresselia, calm mind iron valiant and ninetalesA.

I had cinderace with court change AND taunt, toxapex with haze and dondozo and I lost because I missed an hurricane against iron valiant (last mon in its party)

Singles are in such a bad spot imo lately
