I bought a nice '61 E-type Jaguar a month ago. It is missing one of the front turn signal lights and chrome surround. Yes, I got a nice partial refund and kept the car. Any ideas where I might locate a turn signal lens and chrome surround? I know I can always buy another "parts car" but they don't come up that often, so just wondering about any "spare parts" folks out there. Thanks

Any ideas on how to keep a 1/18 car door closed. It easily pushes all the way closed, but as soon as I let go it pops open about 1/16". I cannot see any pressure points or obstacles. I also have a 1/32 car doing the exact same thing. I may be wrong but I figure on the less expensive manufacturers like Signature, which both of these are, this may be common. Not knocking Signature, I have others by them that are very nice. Any help is much appreciated. The only idea I can come up with other than fixing them permanently closed, is to affix a hidden "wedge" under the inside door and make it rub against the interior flat area under that. I'm hoping this would be just enough friction to hold the

Have others noticed how Amazon is adding shipping costs to more and more items? That will help me stop buying from them. The FREE SHIPPING was a huge draw, but now that it seems to be slowly going to "you pay extra for shipping" I will shop more B&M stores, and that will cut back tremendously on the far too easy AMAZON spending. Free shipping was always questionable anyway, seems like all sellers just add ship costs to product costs and try to fool us idiots.

Ive been out of collecting diecast for several years and decided 2 months ago to maybe buy a few more. I am shocked by today's prices. I guess Covid is to blame for this too. It just seems to me that everywhere you go, sellers are now raising prices through the roof and blaming Covid. You can bet your ass these inflated prices won't go down if Covid ever lets up. Hey, I expect to pay good money for high end diecast, but even the little plain jane 1/43 cars are $40 plus hefty shipping. That is pure B.S. Greedy motherfuckers. It is PRICE GOUGING pure and simple.

Happy smoking to all! I've been looking at offerings of lighters and accessories on internet sites where individuals make up their own descriptions of the item that is for sale. Well, after less than an hour, I have a headache, trying to decipher...what is genuine, what is fake. I must say, some of the fakes are pretty convincing, but I think I'll just stick with buying from a trusted source, and something I can see, hold, and test.

Is there a site out there where we can deal directly (buy and sell) with other pipe smokers rather than ebay or Etsy? Thanks and Happy Smoking!!

I have a 10 year old Peterson 304 with P-lip. It got too hot some years ago and the side of the bowl showed cracks from overheating. I loved the pipe, so I did some internet research to see if there was a way to save the pipe. The use of JB Weld was recommended, and so I tried it. Cleaned the bowl, reamed it slightly, then mixed the 2 part weld, and applied it to the sides of the bowl with a narrow "popsicle stick". Well, after about 8 years of using the pipe since the repair, I still enjoy this little pipe fairly often, but I have learned not to puff so hard trying to keep "too moist" tobacco lit. Anyway, the bowl fix worked very well for me. Now I have an estate GEFAPIP giant (France) sho

I've had this Brebbia Oom Paul for a few years. Only smoked a few times. While looking at pipes on line, I read that these use a 9mm filter, but it must be a "pipe specific" filter. The stem end that goes into the pipe is 5/8" long, and the shaft itself is drilled down 1.25". That leaves just 1/2". I can't find any filter that would fit. Any info is appreciated.
