With the news that old faction gear and weapons will be added to the world loot pools, it might be smart to not decrypt any Prime Engrams you get until next season. If that gear is indeed added next season, the item you engram decrypts into doesn’t get chosen until you go to Rahool. So give yourself a few early chances at whatever updated faction loot ends up in the loot pool! I doubt anyone needs the engrams for power level right now, and the worst that happens is it doesn’t work and you’re in the same boat as if you turned them in now.

Only reason I’d see for cashing them in now is if you are still hunting for something specific from the current loot pool. Unless Bungie removes some item

Think of it like farming a god roll weapon. A god roll code submission could be of massive importance to solving the puzzle!! The closer we get to finishing the map, the more rare new/important pieces will become. You may think “what’s one more code? The streamers are collecting plenty, one more wont help that much”. But your one code could be the “god roll” and lead to a faster solution.

I’m on mobile at work right now, if someone sees this and can post a good link for recent submissions that would be awesome. If not I’ll try and copy one next chance I get!

This works especially well for those of us farming Forges for mats. When you cash them in you end up with stacks of rare shaders from EDZ and Nessus. I know they don’t turn into much, 25 glimmer a piece, but just over the last week or so I have enough saved up that will turn into over 10000 glimmer when I cash them in.

Shadowkeep is increasing our glimmer cap, so if you can get to the current cap before that happens, having a bunch of stacks of rare shaders can be a bank of sorts to help you start pushing towards being a filthy rich guardian.

I’ve seen a lot of helpful hints here that are helping me, and anyone else that listens, get prepped for this haunted moon. So since I’ve been do

I did a search and didn’t see anything. Is this a bug? I’m trying to save up bounties for next week and everyday I can’t pick up new ones cuz they are always the same bounties. “Defeat challenging enemies” “summon primevils” and “arc ability kills”. Seems like a bug as they shouldn’t be the same everyday.

The thorn quest has fixed comp for the time being. No full stacks of Luna’s and NF. Not nearly as many special weapons being used as primaries. A massive pool of players queuing up for the increased progress on the Thorn quest. It really has made me realize how much Luna’s and NF have damaged the crucible and how stale these guns make it. I look forward to the next few weeks as I’m sure this will continue for a while.

At the end of it all, Thorn is an amazingly fun exotic, it’s great in pvp, and it’s better in PvE than any version of D1 Thorn!

One more thing I’ll add, Countdown can eat a bag a dicks. That gamemode just isn’t fun, and it really hurts your progress in this quest.

Think No Land Beyond, but instead of iron sites and bolt action, you have to use the tip of the arrow (or something like that) to line up your shot, have draw time, and OHK on a headshot. Right now Wish Ender has longest draw time, but the same number of shots to kill as the fastest draw time bows. Which makes it pretty weak. NLB was a super fun option in pvp, was a high skill weapon, and was never really OP. If wishender used special ammo, and could do the same as NLB, it would make it worth its exotic slot and difficult quest, but I can’t see how it would cause any balance issues.

What does everyone think?

Yes, the exotic duplicate and drop rate topic has been crushed around here, but this is a new side I didn’t know was even possible. I got through a few raid checkpoints today, from Kalli, I got myself a shiny new pair of Stompees. Like really? Why is gear from vanilla d2 dropping in the year 2 raid? If getting new exotics wasn’t so seemingly impossible everywhere else, I guess maybe this wouldn’t be as noticeable, but I’m raiding to get new gear. I’m not raiding just for level advancement, and I’m def not running the new raid to get year 1 loot. The topic on exotics has been hot, but I can’t see how ANYONE can disagree with this... If you get an exotic instead of raid loot, that exotic shoul

I’m starting to lose hope. Over 100 hours and nothing. Only 4 random drops of exotics, all duplicates. One of them was Ace of Spades!!! I know we’ve been beating this topic to death, but until we hear from Bungie, I don’t think we should let up. It’s negatively affecting the fun I’m having playing the new content. I’m finding myself getting bored and shutting the game off way before I normally would this soon after an awesome new content drop.

Don’t get me wrong. Forsaken has Destiny in the best place it’s been yet, imo. But the exotic economy, and the non existent new exotics, is starting to tarnish it for me. Before people start commenting, I AM NOT complaining that I don’t have every ex

Last week a bunch of players lost their offering by fast traveling. Bungie responded by saying they think the bug is similar to the Leviathan raid key bug where the work around was to log in on all characters before getting any keys. The offering works to same I guess. I fast travelled with my offering and never lost it, but I also logged in on all characters after reset to try and get the DIM app working after the hotfix. So I believe this workaround will make sure you don’t lose your offering

Also, it’s proly best to just wait to turn in the bounty until you are at the oracle, that way you don’t need to worry about anything funky happening. But there were reports of people losing the of

Loving how all these new powerful rewards are unlocking for everyone! I’m still underleveled after finishing al weeklies, and was worried I’d have to wait til next week. Now that there’s more chances to level up I may just be raiding tonite!! Which gives you the chance to get through a few encounters and get even more higher level gear!!!

This whole release with the crazy raid, and all subsequent additions has been amazing!!

PS. Clan Redeem are animals for getting through this, they have become LEGEND. At least in my book.

Happened twice to me yesterday with random groups. When two players both try and activate a tier, it completely locks the blind well. It never is able to be activated, and everyone needs to find a new instance. Which really sucks when you finally find a group of players capable of farming tier 2. My next lucky attempt with finding a large group had the same thing happen after one clear. Same situation. I went to activate, and someone else jumped down and went to activate tier 1 (for some reason) and it froze the Well.

So MAKE SURE only one player activates each time. If you have randoms in your lobby, make sure they don’t appear to be activating when you do. Especially when building 9 man

Noticed my game was running a bit laggy earlier so I reset my modem and tested my connection. Got a message that my connection is fine but Xbox is having issues on their end. The issue is impacting making purchases and downloading purchases. So maybe I’m being paranoid, but will this impact Forsaken launch and the patch download tomorrow??

Just thought I’d throw this post up Incase anyone has any idea, or maybe Bungie has already responded to this or something.

Edit: Forsaken... not FOREsaken.

Not sure if this is good, or bad. But the changes to milestones, and the seemingly non-existent drop rates of exotic engrams, have made exotics really rare. Ever since we learned that exotic armor has perks on it, Ive been trying to get them to drop. My only exotic was purchased from Xur, and I’ve been playing a good amount. I also know that some drops are auto-decrypting, so engrams aren’t as common. Now that any exotic armor has a chance of being useful, even duplicates, I feel like I want them to drop more often. At the same time having rare exotics brings back some of that old d1 excitement when they do drop! I know once the full effect of the weekly activities are active, and we have th

I’ve seen a lot of posts about the new meta. People complaining, people praising, people complaining about complaining. I’ve seen comments about this topic, but I really wanted to make it its own post, to maybe have a better chance that Bungie can see it. That is of course if this community tends to agree.

Snipers have way too much flinch still. With the right maps, using a sniper is already gonna be tough, but skilled snipers can make it work and it would be a lot of fun. The problem is it only takes getting hit once to find your reticle all over the place, and unable to return fire. If snipers had less flinch, and were more reliable, you’d see less shotguns everywhere. I have no major is
