I've been thinking about getting the base 14" macbook pro, but I absolutely despise not having a good adblocker on my browser. Saw a bunch of reports of people saying that ublock origin didn't work properly and caused firefox to crash on macbooks with M1 chips, can anyone chime in on if thats still the case? If so, anybody know of any adblock addons for safari that work as perfectly as ublock?

Accounts being fished and clans being stolen has been a serious concern for a while now, even the devs themselves acknowledged that.
Hell, the top post on this subs front page right now is about a long-time user being phished MULTIPLE TIMES.
And Supercell should care about this, I recon there are quite a few users who will never spend a single cent on this game because they fear losing their accounts. Here are some suggestions to improve account safety and account recovery:

This sub is being flooded with "i maxed my low th after 2 days, look" posts, posts complaining about those posts and posts complaining about the complaining posts and so on, which is getting pretty annoying.

Lets just fix that by making a weekly megathread about personal accomplishments (which could be pinned to the front page as long as there aren't more important posts to pin) and removing any such posts outside of that megathread. People who are proud about whatever they want to post can go there and get their pat on the shoulder and reddit karma and the rest of the sub doesnt get flooded with meaningless spam anymore. Seems like a win-win to me.

Ok, disappointment first: you can do absolutely nothing about cheaters short-term. But in the long run, you can vote with your wallet.

Season 5 will be released tomorrow and will feature a new battle pass along with a metric fuck-ton of cosmetics. DO NOT BUY THEM. As long as players keep buying every skin and every battlepass IW throws at them, they don't give a single fuck about cheaters simply because they don't have to, they make money anyways. So just stop throwing money at a company that doesn't give a fuck about your experience.

I bought Civ VI about an hour ago to play with friends, and I can not get into an online lobby at all. Doesn't matter if I try to join a friend or create an online game myself, I just get a static picture of the lobby and when I even attempt to click anything the game crashes.

Possible fixes I've tried: -reinstalling

-reinstalling on a different hard drive

-running in windowed/windowed borderless

-disabling all mods

-using the DX11 or DX12 version

-reset all setting to default

Can anybody help me with that?

You literally get free loss forgiveness if you play without a full team, so you either get points or don‘t lose any. The game also fucking tells you that you will get a cooldown if you leave. An most importantly, we could finally get rid of all the stupid „wHy dO i GeT bAnNeD fOr LeAvInG a RaNkEd MaTcH?“ posts.

If you already got one, you deserve it for being stupid as hell.

Allow people to queue for shadowfall as a party of two or three. These players will then spawn as shadows right from the beginning and can hunt other players. I think this has enough benefits to fix the issue of people leaving as soon as they die:

-hunting legends with your friends is a lot more fun than doing it without any coordination. Shadows would still not be too powerful, because only 2-3 people at a time are in a party, so players wont get run over by a giant, coordinated group of shadows.

-the first legends that die are not alone for a couple of minutes, so they have less reason to leave because they wont feel like they cant do anything at first.

I recently reached diamond and was thinking about grinding to predator in september. But diamond lobbies are absolutely ridiculous campfests. Every team sits in a house with 2-3 longbows and waits for the circle because they want points, so its incredibly boring and annoying to play ranked. Does it get better at predator? Do players stop camping and caring about points that much? Or is the grind pointless (heh)?

Assuming you have a lvl. 3 backpack, your favorite setup of guns and dont need to carry any attachments. How many of each type of med/grenade will you carry and why?

I think the biggest problem right now aren‘t temporary skins, it‘s that most of them are shitty items that you could buy for 5ct on the community market. They are supposed to be rewards, and getting a crap item for a limited time doesn‘t feel rewarding at all.

My ideas to improve the system are either:

-give out crates (that don‘t require a key) instead of temporary items. Players get a chance to get something good or just get the same stuff they‘d get with the current system.

-give out temporary items every 2-3 levels, but make them decent (not dropping items of the lowest 2-3 tiers)

-instead of making the drop completely random, the rarity (tier) of the item should increase with every
