I live in a place that has a heater pole boxes in my parking space. I talked to housing association and they are kind of okay with modification of the box for a modern charger. However all these poles are controlled from a central place where they have a 10 minutes on 10 minutes off cycle (designed for heating in mind).

I am just curious if I use the regular 220v charger would this on off cycling would be harmful? Please ignore old plug related risks as they will be fixed but on off timer cannot change.

I will be attending an event in Hannover in 2 weeks and unfortunately I will be alone from my company. Therefore I want to find a stand host(es) that can take notes of the visitors, especially when I am busy elsewhere etc. I want to find if possible a engineering student who would like to make some money and would at least understand the basic idea of the technical words that are used.

Would it be possible for someone to direct me to a place to put ads for this? Like any student job ad groups etc? (of course it is paid work.)

I have a Oneplus 12 with Oxygen os 14. Just upgraded this week. So this morning I turned on my second sim and phone was working fine. Then I boarded a plane and turned on airplane mode. Now I landed and suddenly my sims are not connecting.

After trying several things here is the breakdown:

1- Simcards work fine.

2- If I use SIM1 and turn off the sim2 it works fine.

3- If I use Sim1 and Sim2 at the same time or just Sim2 it doesn't work.

4- It doesn't work means phone sees the sims, gets all the correct information but does not connect to an operator. Nor lets me choose one.

I tried all sim card combinations so this is not simcard issue, something is wrong with the phone softw

We want to buy a new fridge for our home. I never owned a home before so fridge shopping is not something I cared much in last decade or more. Now I see it is only the usual suspects (Gigantti, Verkkokauppa, Power, Prisma etc.) with super limited selection. Beside that all searches end up very shady looking Estonian companies with Finnish language websites.

Is there a proper "kodinkoneet" store (online or physical) that I am missing or am I stuck with whatever few items available in the mentioned stores?

Anybody applied for China Visa (M type if matters) any recent times in Helsinki? If so any comments on how long did it take for you to get it? Also do they take away your passport for the whole waiting period or like Canada take it only when the visa needs to printed?

Lets consider you have a holding company that just exists to own some shares in a startup no other activities. In case of a successful exit, the money that comes to company accounts from the sale of the shares, would that count as income? (meaning 20% corporate income tax?)

I am purely talking regarding corporate taxation, I know the personal taxes and dividend options etc. I am considering Estonia vs Finland in this regard at the moment. Finland makes my life easy if there is not taxation during the exit sale.

Seriously, Finnair is doing everything to be ignored. Just bought a ticket 470€ from KLM that equivalent in Finnair at 570€ (with Silver luggage discount) ... I have a relatively new system (from December) with Ryzen 7700X, Gigabyte X670-AORUS-ELITE-AX-rev-1, 16x2 DDR5 Ram and Gigabyte RTX 4080, Corsair 1000 Watt PSU. (First of all avoid Gigabyte, they are terrible, like joke level bad) OS is Windows 10 with latest updates.

So since last 1-2 months I have been having this problem, regardless of what activity or load (or idle) pc stops responding properly, for example browsing web, it keeps running the youtube audio but tabs become unresponsive, start menu opens but not clickable, I can switch between windows tabs etc. Then in 1 minute or so it resets.

This happens during gaming, browsing or idling. First I thought it was because of motherb
