Now that I have a Win11 PC, VLC video will often freeze while audio playback continues. This happens almost exclusively after pausing the video for a moment. The audio playback will continue on through the program but the video stays frozen on the single frame it was on during pause. This never happened on Win10.

I can work around the issue by stopping the playback, then restarting the file and jumping to the timestamp, and the video will continue from there with no issue.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any solutions?

#####TOWNSHIP DO'S & DON'TS, PART 1 (T-Cash)

DO NOT spend those early-game dollars (T-Cash) foolishly.

  • The tutorial encourages and trains you to spend T-Cash freely, but the cash runs out quickly in the first stages.

  • Save your dollars for important upgrades, like purchasing a few additional boxes in the marketplace, or one or two additional production boxes for your most

A while ago I was binge-watching allen & heath d-live videos, and in one of them (near the end of the video), the presenter described how to create individual tones on each channel of the board.

It involved something like using the signal generator to feed a sine wave to the channels, then pitch-shifting each channel to alter the tone. The result was a board of faders that you could "play" like an organ.

I cannot find this video again, nor can I re-create the effect when I have a spare moment on my venue's D-live. Can anyone find this link for me? Or alternately, describe how to accomplish this "notes on faders" effect?

I want to stay late one night and pull a Phantom Of The Opera in o

Hello good people of r/IrishMusic!

I have published a series of affordable Irish music books which I hope will interest you. The complete series contains over 450 of the very best traditional Irish songs, tunes, airs and ballads chosen from the thousands I've come across during my 30+ years of playing.

Volume 4 collects over 100 songs, some with lyrics, others instrumental, which present the very best of the timeless, lovely, haunting, jaunty, melodious tunes the Isles have to offer. Each tune has chord movements included for accompaniment, and all songs have complete lyrics for singing along.

I've included a few samples from this volume below: The Ash Grove, a beautiful Welsh tune dati

Sample charts here are Down By The Ocean Tide, a lovely air which sounds great on bouzouki, and Old French, a light hornpipe which bounces along nicely on a concertina or a pennywhistle.

Volume 2 contains over 100 Reels, they are top quality & hand-selected from the hundreds of reels I have played over the years. Each one contains chords as well for accompanists to play along.

A sample song from the collection has been attached below, The Red-Haired Boy. This tune has many variations but the one presented here turns around the melody in the most interesting way. Special

Greetings good people of r/IrishMusic.

I have published a series of affordable Irish music books you might be interested in. The complete series contains over 450 of the very best traditional Irish songs, tunes, airs and ballads chosen from the thousands I've come across during my 30+ years of playing.

The books are not a comprehensive collection, neither are they simply a toss-together of the standard "favorite tunes". I've carefully curated these songs over the years from dozens of original sources. This is a gathering of the very best tunes I have found, each one brimming with charm and vigor and of the highest quality.

Some tunes are very well-known, but others are quite rare and m

Are the admins aware of the recent trend of natural language bots making nonsense comments in order to build up accounts?

I've been seeing an awful lot of nonsensical one-line posts by generically named new users lately.

I'd like to colorize posts and comments by users who are only a day or two old, but I don't want that tagging to be visible to the general public, only to mods.

I was thinking along the lines of setting a flair class (but not a label) then using css to colorize some element ONLY if viewed by a moderator.

Possible? I'm not sure what the best way to put this together is so any help would be much appreciated!

I've got automod flairing any posts that hit /r/all (baked-in feature, appends r/ALL to existing link flair when a post gets popular).

I'd like to be notified when this happens, but am having trouble getting it to work correctly. Here's what I've got:

type: submission
flair_text (includes): ["r/ALL"]
modmail_subject: Front Page Alert
modmail: "[{{title}}]({{permalink}}) just hit the front page"

But it doesn't seem to be working correctly. Any suggestions about how to get this up and running? Thanks!

The AM rules page used to format nicely based on markdown principles, which allowed us to do nice things like headers for category groups, subheadings for indexed rule titles, etc.

Is it possible to bring that back? It makes navigating dense rules pages so much easier.

Thanks!

The handling of the recent Bill Murray AMA and subsequent gender-based defensiveness of valid criticism by the new community manager is not acceptable.

I won't polemicize here nor will I attempt a recap as the situation is still unfolding, but this reflects so poorly on Reddit and the currently admin/mod relationship of the /r/AMA r/IAMA team.

Please take this seriously, admins. So many of us mods strive to do our (unpaid) work and represent Reddit well with professionalism, courtesy and respect, so it's doubly upsetting to see the lack of those qualities in a person who is actually being paid to exercise them.

Just my 2¢.

edit: r/IAMA sorry so sorry everyone

#####TOWNSHIP DO'S & DON'TS, PART 5 (Fulfillment Tips)

DO prioritize filling train cars - the game will not progress without them.

  • Always organize your supply chain to prioritize the freight orders. Orders for townspeople can usually wait, unless there's an easy one or a high-paying one that doesn't conflict with the train.

  • No trains = no supplies = no buildin

#####TOWNSHIP DO'S & DON'TS, PART 4 (Factories)

DO build factories as soon as they become available.

  • The game starts demanding items in train cars and townspeople order pretty quickly - you need to have your supply chain up and running so you don't just clog up on low-level items with nowhere for them to go.

DO load up your factories at night so they can chug awa

#####TOWNSHIP DO'S & DON'TS, PART 3 (Buildings & Land)

DO think about establishing districts for the various categories of buildings.

  • Grouping factories together makes them much easier to coordinate, and you may want to plan a residential district for all the 1x1 houses separate from the commercial district (1x2 & 2x2).

  • A large central area for the farm
