I'm facing a weird issue where my navigation system would just restart when driving.

I have a short clip showing it happening when I lock the steering wheel.

Every time it happens, the navigation would reset (both screens), I would lose memory seat settings, I would get the ''Tighten Fuel Cap ' error, and also the driver proximity sensor would not unlock, but locking works fine.

The car starts just fine every single time, so probably not a battery issue I guess. Maybe a fuse problem

Ok boys, I have an interesting one.

I cable got stuck in my CPU fan and run hot. So the computer shutdown. I thought that the CPU was done. I just replaced it with a brand new one. The issue remains the same.

As soon as I plugged the CPU cable to the motherboard, It just shutdowns. if I try to turn it on with the CPU cable in, it keeps restarting

I have attached a video.

Intel i5 6600K (old) / Intel Pentium G5400

No graphic card

Avexir Core Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4

Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO

256G SanDisk SSD

EVGA SuperNOVA 550 power supply

I have removed every single component and tested it. The power supply also came with a testing kit.

I can't think of a reason for it

Trying to buy a 2017 Audi A4 Technik (fully loaded in Canada ) from à VW dealer. The manufacturer's warranty just expired and the car has 70K km.

They are also offering a 3year/ 60K km extended warranty for 2600 CAD.

Do you think that I should get the warranty?

Also, do I need to make a PPI even though it’s being inspected by the VW dealer?

With a master's degree in telecommunications (Canada) including projects and courses in microwave engineering and low noise amplifier design, and yet most of the job offerings I see are about technical support or networking.

I was expecting more to get more job offers in the line of Antenna Design or just something related to RF in general.

I have my 2016 ILX A-spec that makes all kinds of noises when playing certain songs. I would like to replace the rear subwoofer myself.

I have seen people on forums (AcuraZine) swapping the OEM sub with a Kicker 40CWD84.

My question is to know if this is a direct replacement for the ELS sound subwoofer? Is it better than the stock Sub? I do not plan on upgrading the amp.

After taking my car to the dealership to get the rattling from the rear deck fixed , I noticed that it’s still there.

Does anyone know or have the procedure on how to remove the rear deck cover ?

Also, do I need need to remove the C-Pillars before ?

Hey all , took my car to a wash , a hand wash, as I have understood to almost never take it to those automated ones. After the car got hand washed I later have discovered those little scratches here and there. My question here is to know what to do forward, that’s is to prevent this from happening and also to avoid worsening it. The car is a 2016 Acura ILX Catalina bleu if that is relevant.

Hi, just thought I’d share some tests that I did but using regular and premium fuel on my 2016 A-spec Acura ILX.

They all started with a full tank gas and until I have reached 20-40 KM before empty. The first preview was with regular gas, the second with premium and the third with regular. I am not sure how precise my testing is though :)

Hi folks I have a canadien 2016 Acura ILX A-spec, and i wanted to try the navetool Kit, but I can’t find the hdmi input anywhere . Looked in the armrest console but there is only an auxiliary port, a USB port and a 12V outlet.

Is this the case for anyone ?

Do you think that it’s a good deal ?

Any other car I should consider other than a Honda Civic or accord ?
