so i was lurking on the work computer looking on my workday profile and i see "start performance review" , but i literally have no idea what this means. it says that the person whos supposed to evaluate me is a team lead, but its not mine. its the team lead for style but i work in beauty and ive never been cross trained in any other department. it says it was created on september 18th. im just so confused as to why im supposedly being evaluated by a teamlead that ive never even spoken to before. does anybody have any idea what this could be for or is this just something that i

in my personal statement essay i talk about the fact that my name is the literal meaning of the sun in my native language but that i’ve resonated/related to the moon more throughout my life based on my personality and experiences. i’ve basically interpreted this as a metaphor, and ive heard that it’s actually not the best idea to make your statement about metaphors and now im worried because i dont want to rewrite my essay and im planning to do early admission, so i dont really have a lot of time to drastically change my essay. i obviously still have to make some revisions but i just want to know is it THAT bad making my essay about my name and how the essay idea is kinda a metaphor/paradox
i live and do the same things everyday, and its been like this for years. im so lost and unsure of what i want to do. im a 17 year old girl in highschool (US) which means that i will have to choose what im going to do for college. i know that people change their minds multiple times throughout college, but i really dont have any passions, so if i end up finding a passion/desire in a short amount of time i feel like it wont be a deep one. for a few years ive just told people that i want to be an athletic trainer, but im realizing that i only say that so that people can stop asking and bothering me on what im going to do. the only thing that made me intruiged in AT was that i like to watch soc
when a buyer buys multiple things from your profile but they dont buy them at the same time iykwim. like they have two separate orders when they couldve just added all of the listings to their bag and bought them at the same time. it basically just wastes the buyer's money because theyre paying for shipping twice (even though theyre buying from the same shop) and the seller has to package the listings separately and waste packaging and supplies when they couldve just put everything into one box/polymailer/etc.. maybe im just being picky but yea i hope this makes sense
i have seen multiple different numbers such as $400, $600, and even $20k. i just want to know what is the minimum amount of money that requires you to file taxes for depop. since im a minor i use my moms social security to sell things on depop and i obviously dont want to take any risks if i do something incorrect for when its time for taxes next year
i took the act in march 2026 and i was really upset with my score (25) since my goal was a 30. my school is offering another opportunity for the act in late september, but i have to pay $55 for it (the ACT in junior year has always been free). the cost isnt necessarily the problem, but im paranoid if i manage to do worse than my first score. for senior year, im planning on taking AP lang, AP psych, and AP bio. i was wondering if any of the work in those classes would be useful to help my score? my worst 2 subjects on the act were english (25) and reading (24), so would the first month of ap lang be any use? i wont be taking a math class this year because i did DE pre calc junior year, and f
one of my ideas for my common app/personal statement essay is talking about a quote from a show that ive watched and how it changed my perception on things that i do in my life now. ive heard mixed opinions about adding quotes to essays so i wanted to hear from others whether its worth it to keep brainstorming with this idea. i plan on only using a fragment of the quote (which is only a sentence long) because i know its not a great idea to open an essay with the entire quote
i only got a 25 on my act during junior year (incoming senior now). though a 25 is above the state average in wisconsin, im aware that its not good for students who are seeking to attend madison (ive seen that the average is about 28-33).
these are basically the general stats that i've included on my common app so far:
i have a 3.9 gpa (4.0 uw), ive taken 3 ap's so far, and ive passed all of them but theyre not outstanding courses and ive never gotten a five on any exam (3 ap hug, 3 ap spanish lang, 4 ap chemistry) i plan on taking 3 ap classes senior year though. my extracurriculars aren't that great either, ive been in only 3 clubs since sophomore year, i plan to join another one senio
i was wondering if a tiktok account that i've been posting on since july 2023 would count as a passion project for the activities part on applications? i dont have any outstanding extracurriculars, and i know that i dont need to fill out everything (for common app) on the activities portion, but i feel like i should consider adding it based on anybodys advice to me. the account has 8k followers and over 4 million likes in total, but its not related to something that i would major in.
i am interested in trying out on making custom made keychains and i want to know where is the best place to find the charms and necessary equipment needed to start making them (im mostly looking for the charms first). ive been inspired by the type of keychains that are themed around certain fandoms, like the ones on depop and other online marketplaces. the pictures below are the type of charms that im interested in (pics from depop). also, if the charms in the picture seem to be custom made rather than being part of a kit, i'd appreciate it if i could find a place to do custom charms as well

im still new to depop so im just wondering what do you guys suggest regarding boosting/unboosting? obviously i know that boosting is supposed to help out sellers, but i feel like i've seen a lot of posts (especially on here) saying that boosting isnt really helping with sales or gaining views, and some buyers actually avoid looking at boosted items. im also aware of the 12% taken out of the price after selling, so i just wanna know is it even worth it to have the boosted shop enabled? im just contemplating because im overthinking that i wont be consistently selling stuff by having the boosted shop option disabled (my target is to get at least a couple of sales a week, which is nothing too
i just delivered my first products to the post office. do i have to update anything in the app to change the status from “to ship” to “in transit” or does the app change the status?
