https://reddit.app.link/G2sUbGN7h7 is a Best Of link where partial totals and source links (Sources: https://wonder.cdc.gov/controller/datarequest/D76 and https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/vsrr/covid19/index.htm) are given but OP didn't break down totals and the CDC site gives a grand total but doesn't break down specifically. I get the sick feeling that number will make WW1 seem small.
We're shopping at Wegman's last night and the wife is chattering away. All the sudden she stopped talking and started going "hummna hummna hummna". What? says I. "I forgot what I was saying" replies she. "So you put your mouth into an idle?"
The cashier and two people at the service counter thought that was funny. The wife says I have no sense of humor.
I've read that the change started in Webster's but I have a hard time believing ONE dictionary could easily affect a worldwide change.
Having seen some of the problems other states have had this year might it be a good idea to remind folks to make sure they hang onto and bring their Certificate of Registration with them to their polling place? It's a small piece of paper that could be easily misplaced, lost or forgotten.
It would be an easy way to clear any possible confusion when we all get to the polls - IF one remembers to take it along.
"you're not registered". Why, yes I am. Here's my card.
