Inventory draw down in the US from increasing demand coupled with production cuts back in March and April are causing prices to spike in Edmonton which will reverberate throughout the Alberta, Sask and Interior BC.

P.S. "The Expert" CBC interviewed is wrong. Refineries didn't just decide to cut. They've been cutting since Covid started and are actually scheduled to ramp back up starting May 1st. Don't blindly believe experts. Refining Capacity data is available publicly through IRR.

And I'm faaaaaaar from wealthy.

Does that make anyone else feel a tad bit dirty or is it just me? I only had around $12K to invest when this crash happened and in the month since then I've made about $6000 just for having that money sitting there. Obviously there is a lot of risk involved as well but it still blows my mind thinking about those numbers if you just added a couple zeros to them.

The communist in me really feels like we should be taxing capital gains more and investing that money directly into the lower income class through targeted programs (not UBI).

Anyways, that's my rant of the day. Probably just jinxed everything and it'll all fall apart tomorrow. Sorry folks

I'm a little confused here. I took my 2019 bonus in company stock that was deposited into my RRSP in March. Obviously there have been some significant gains since then and the stock price is getting within the ball park of where I think I want to sell but I obviously don't want to pull the money out of my RRSP, I just want to move into cash for now (or into another investment potentially). The service I'm with through my employer doesn't appear to let me sell and keep cash in my account so I think I have to move it out into a personal RRSP account but it doesn't seem to let me do that without taking it out of my RRSP? Am I just doing something wrong or can you actually not sell your position

Hi everyone, I'm a Caucasian 30 yo M, 150 lbs, 5'10.

About a year ago I had debilitating health anxiety issues mainly driven by this pretty large lymphnode I found on my neck. I saw multiple doctors about it who told me it was fine but I could never really relax about it until I had to get a CT scan of my neck due to an unrelated injury and the doctor explained to me that my lymphnodes are prominent but appear normal. This helped immensely and I've been mostly anxiety free since that event.... until now.

I had an painful infected ingrown hair which led to swollen lymphnodes in my groin about two months ago. Ultrasound confirmed that they were swollen but neither the radiologist nor my doct

So I've had this belief since high school where I hung out or interacted with a lot of different people who were heavily into music, were in bands etc... Anecdotally it always seemed to me like metal heads were always the most close minded. It's almost like they thought that their music taste was directly tied to their pride or manhood and that listening to anything without a double kick drum and palm muted open E notes made them less of a man. They would refuse to listen or learn anything that wasn't either metal or at least a guitar based rock song that was at least 30 years old. Maybe it's because metal music itself is very narrow band and has very little crossover with other genres so th
