I went a fishing trip recently and caught a lot of exotic fish (at least relative to the US) - roosters, mackerel, jack, nurse shark, snapper, pampano. I dont really want a 5 foot fiberglass shark hanging anywhere in my apartment nor do i want to pay to get it done, and unless I get rich I dont see myself having a room big enough to just showoff a bunch of mounted fish without it being an eyesore.

I was thinking of commissioning art work - something like 8x8s in a simple, thin wood frame on white paper/canvas to be hung on one wall in a grid) for all of the different types of fish that I catch, so that I can represent my whole fishing journey, from bass to trout to sharks but I dont rea

Looking at getting my first weather station. I primarily want to be able to monitor wind speeds and lightning strikes. I’m not too concerned about tracking accurate rain fall amounts. Temp/humidity is also important but it doesn’t seem like any units struggle with that.

I would like for it to have WiFi capability ( connect to an app or WU) and be powered by solar. I don’t want to have to deal with changing batteries. I also do not care about having a monitor, but it would be a nice touch.

Price isn’t that much of a concern but I’d like for it to be worth every penny. For example, based on what I’ve read on recent posts, the tempest doesn’t seem worth it for $300. I like the ecowitt gw2001

Looking to dive into some fingerstyle that can help me work on hammer ons/pull offs based on basic open chords. something nice and easy that isnt hard to memorize is nice.

I’m at the point where I want to get a top tier guitar. I mainly play fingerstyle. I also typically don’t use amps. I’ve been browsing Facebook marketplace and these deals seem too good to be true. Or am I just referencing bad info? All used, no noticeable blemishes in the pictures.

Is there anything else you think I should look into before pulling the trigger on one these? Realistically I would be willing to spend $2k. But based on what I’m seeing these guitars are comparable to most guitars at the $2k price point. I will play them when I go to pick them up but I want to start with the best one

I am looking to book a ski/snowboard trip the second week of December and I am trying to decide between Taos or angel fire. I am leaning angel fire since Taos looks like limited trails unless you want ski blacks all day (which my group does not want to do).

Is snowfall reliable enough to book a trip this far out? And would you suggest Taos or angel fire? Or somewhere else?

I would like to get a print of Fidelity but I want to make sure the source I use ends up printing a good quality. Is there somewhere I can trust to download it? One that is preferably free.

Had some bad storms last night which caused power outages. The kind of outages where the everything’s shut off for like 1 second then comes back on. But it happened like 5-10 times.

The server still works fine but I can’t connect to the webgui through the ip address. And my other apps (radar, sonar, etc) I can only access by going to the docker and clicking webgui.

When I search the lan mdns (e.g. tower.local) I can pull up the webgui fine.

Does anyone know why this is happening and how I can fix it?

Tangentially, my server is plugged into a Panamax mr4000. Is that enough protection from power outages like the ones I had?

I have size 11 classic clogs and they fit well, but are a little long. I also have a pair of the sandals in 11 it I find the straps that go over the top of my foot are uncomfortably snug. Do the echo clogs fit the frame of the classic clogs more or would it be more snug like the sandals? I like to wear socks with my crocs so I’d prefer the extra space.

The only games I really play are DOTA and warframe. 4k would be nice at like 60 fps, but if I can get more with this I’ll be happy. I occasionally will download and try out other games. And run some decently dense excel files. And would like to stream 4k. I’d like to have this for years to come.

Upgrading from a 4th gen intel and gtx 1050 ti so I really don’t know what to expect from this new build performance wise.

Will be using ssd from my previous build as storage.
