I have my chronicle attraction prayer active, but its only giving me regular chronicle fragments and very rarely giving enhanced chronicle fragments. I managed about 50/50 yesterday, but this morning its generating about 1/20 enhanced. From everything im reading, it should be 100% enhanced, no? A friend I have has been getting 100% enhanced chronicles with it active. Does anyone know a fix, or do I just have terrible rng/bug?

It was a warm august evening, the sun nearly setting under a clear blue sky. Fall colors were just coming in on the trees, whose leaves were just turning towards brown, some had already fallen down onto a meandering path that wove its way through the park. Children played, and mothers gossiped. All enjoying the last few days of summer before the school season picked up again.

On the side of the path sat a bench, dedicated to someone or another, whose name was long forgotten. From his seat, an aging man, in his twilight years, watched as the young ones enjoyed their late summer evening.

He had come to this bench nearly every day. He enjoyed it. The view, the happiness of everybody around.

That inky black

So deep and dark

Above a world born so stark

From which a race there would hark

To the call of that inky black

On the plains of grass so green

Came a people born

A twinkle of stars in their eyes was seen

What first they heard its call to mean

To answer this they were sworn

Upon a journey they were borne

One dark night

There would alight

A flame with brilliant glow

Would give them sight

So they could take flight

Around the flames a story told

A tribal group heard

By shaman old

Her words had stirred

A race that would unfold

By brilliant day and dawn blue

Beneath a sun brilliant and warm

To stir a breeze tha

Before contact, they always thought themselves special in some way. They weren’t. I had of course known this in advance, having observed them, and countless other species’ rise to civilization for hundreds of thousands of years. They, like any species speculated about what alien life would be like, and compared themselves to that speculation.

There were times when they would imagine that they would be the first species to achieve interstellar travel. That they would pave the way for others to come. This of course is silly to think. There were far many before, and far many that will come after.

They would pride themselves on physical strength. But what kind of species could rise to the star

They came out of the skies one January morning, an unnamed alien horde descended upon earth. After making landfall, they began pushing outwards in all directions, slaughtering anyone who resisted, and even those who didn’t. Nobody was safe from their onslaught. The human lines fell back time and time again as the circle of alien control grew. Soon all that was left of humanity was a small group of survivors that was utterly surrounded. When pressed into a corner, humanity fights like no other. Those few would inflict more damage upon the aliens than they had felt throughout their entire history, they were known as “The 30,000”

In the chaos of war, when many charge forward into death and battle, patience is often overlooked. A true hunter does not charge the open at his prey when it is found. Instead he waits patiently until the time is right to strike. The same is true in war.

My part in the war? Well, I suppose I can tell you how I spent it. If you don't mind sitting by the fireplace and helping me with this bottle of whisky. Distilled during the war. Who would have thought that in such a chaotic time, some would still find the time to produce such a fine drink.

Hmm, anyways. I wasn't involved in any of the protests of the start of the war, nor t

Chapter 7: Bricks

Grrk’nash was semi-surprised to observe a large and probably heavy beam follow the gate doors as they flew inward, landing with a fiery crash in the entrance plaza. Surely his kick to the doors could not have had that much force. He didn’t even channel the power of Svìnsêå, the ancient warrior goattess.

“Who cometh?” he asked as he turned around to see what made it fly forward. As his eyes turned, and his tongue licked his nose, he saw another goat striding through the flames in slow motion. The flames parted as he passed through. Brak’kòl strode up to Grrk’nash, bowed and gave a winded bleat in reply.

“He seems to be worthy of this quest,” thought Grrk’nash. Bidd

Set 2000 years before the Goatian Empire took their first steps into space, in a land filled with mountains, castles, and goatdoms. This is the heroic tale of Grrk’nash’s quest to recover the stolen gems and gold from the dragon hoard in the mountains, while liberating the Goatian peoples from the oppressive reign of the bovines.

Chapter 1: Day of the red flames

Bleating screams filled the town square as smoke rose from the city. It was a dark day, for the prophecy had come true. Ruin was upon them all.

A great winged shadow passed over the grand statue of Sir Goat

The Board of Trade saloon, locally known as the B.O.T. has always been a popular hangout for the small town of Nome, Alaska. Established in 1898 during the early days of the gold rush, the entire town has grown around the ever present bar. Sitting at the crossroads of cultures and continents, Nome has experienced a great diversity of people, from the Inupiaq natives, to the American gold miners, to Russian settlers, all of which at some point end up at the Board of Trade saloon.

Every year in March, Nome’s population explodes as people from all around the world fly in to watch the end of the last great race, the Iditarod. Today however, the Board of Trade would be seein

“Its ok, take your time.” The Rakvarian judge calmingly said to the witness on stand.

The courtroom was silent as each observer waited for the witness’s testimony regarding human war crimes during the struggle for the world of Keldorak.

“I was stationed on Keldorak…” he paused as he shut his eyes, trying to suppress the flashbacks that were forcing their way into his mind. “…during the war. For those who don’t know, Keldorak is a warm humid world, mostly covered with dense jungle…” he paused as he took in a
