This is driving me nuts...

With all the talk of voter suppression in the air in the US this got me thinking. Seems like an election supervisor should be nonpartisan similar to an elected judge. Not sure about other states, but in Florida our supervisors of elections have party affiliation, which seems to me like a MAJOR conflict of interest depending on if the county is red or blue, what gives?

Title explains the issue. Some more details (please excuse any incorrect vocabulary) :

The shower is a single value, rotates cold into hot. Sink has a hot and cold handle. Water in sink is a bit "airy", not sure if that's related at all. US home if that matters.

Any ideas or this? Any way to fix this without destroying the walls. Not the end of the world but super annoying nonetheless.

EDIT: Water comes out of the hot tap pre-shower, just not hot water.

Title says it all. Google is failing, probably since I can't actually search in Japanese. The damn instakill squares are making this impossible to pass.

"Mark the application with ..."

Google is failing me

Do I just mark it with "dnr 2.3.1-377-2018" or "2.3.1-377-2018"

You go to multiple Buckethead shows, and you recognize a lot of the people who also frequent them. There's a father and son duo who have been front and center the two times I have gone, and I know they've got a few more shows under their belts. They were to my right during the show.

At my first experience the crowd wasn't so rowdy, and I've heard similar stories online- enter psycho bitch. She is the exact kind of person you don't want behind you at a concert. She's louder and more high pitched than any note a guitar can produce, smoked inside, kept trying to shove her way forward, and when she didn't get her way would bad mouth father and son (making geriatric jokes about pops, he's an old

Hi all,

I'm a little confused about the JR pass.

I arrive to Haneda airport at 7:45 pm, and based on the link below it looks like the office to exchange closes at 6:30 pm, is that correct?

http://www.japanrailpass.net/en/exchange.html

Trying to weigh my options to see if it would be best to stay at an airport hotel, or whatever.

All have original cases and booklets (if applicable). In addition to the above requests, I have a small list here of stuff I've somehow not acquired over the years

Hallå,

I'm wondering about the general structure of Swedish universities. In the US, we have some faculty members who are strictly "instructors". Does this same position exist in Scandinavian universities?

I am a few months shy of obtaining my PhD in ecology, extremely interested in moving to Sweden/Finland/Denmark/Norway, and also potentially interested in a career in university education, but no longer research.
