Hi there name nerds. I am about twenty weeks pregnant with a girl now and our struggling to find names we want to stick with.

We currently have two sons, Bennett and Samson. We really like that both have a classic, but more unique feel. I especially like the simple nickname potential of Ben and Sam.

Are there any girl names you can think of that fit? Romantic, but with a simple nickname?

Some names we like: Eloise, Esther, Hannah, Hazel, Mabel, Ruby, Violet, Vivian

There’s a prayer vigil being held in my town for Charlie Kirk tonight.

My pastor brought it up as a time for “Christians to unite” or something like that without mentioning Charlie Kirk at all. I have some issue with this in itself- since it’s ignoring the political charged aspect of this meeting. Regardless though, it is technically a time for Christians to unite.

I am deciding whether or not to go or not as a person who is strongly faithful while also strongly disagreeing with Charlie in many aspects.

If this is truly about faith a prayer should I not go to share what Christians may think and look like who are not in the same political realm? Would it be hypocritical for me to tr

Or that can be enjoyed without it. I’m going on a family trip to the Santa Ynez Valley this next weekend and am pregnant. I’m disappointed that I won’t be able to participate in the wine-related activities, but thought I could find some fun events/places to go to make up for it. Do you lovely people have any recommendations? Thank you in advance!

both of these rules are based on eating foods that are technically compliant by ingredients but not by the whole30 guideline, but is there a difference in them?

Would you personally break one (say to eat compliant cream cheese), but still be willing to keep the other (like no homemade cassava tortillas)? If so, what is the mentality for you behind that?

Just trying to organize my thoughts on my own journey with Whole30 and the reasons behind it!

My husband and I seem to gravitate toward classic, romantic names for boys like Cassius, Atticus, or Ambrose. I love these names, but have a feeling my family will not. The names they suggest are very traditional and popular- Michael, Robert, John, etc.

While it’s my and my husband’s choice at the end of the day, I am curious if there are any names that would fit our romantic tastes while also not being too “out there” for my conservative family.

Any ideas?
