Went to get in my hot tub last night (Saluspa) and discovered that a bird had unfortunately gotten itself in there and died within the last day or two. Going to drain the water completely, but looking for advice on what steps to take and what products to use to completely disinfect it. The filter was on, so all of that gross water has now gone through the system. Thanks in advance!

Also any newbie tips and tricks would be appreciated! Just set up our Saluspa Hawaii and I was curious how running the heater is supposed to go. Do you just run it continuously? Or start it a few hours before you want to go in? Right now the water temp is 60 but tomorrow is forecasted to be in the 90’s. I’m curious if we should run the heater overnight and through tomorrow to get it up to temp by tomorrow night. And then once we are done with it tomorrow night and we cover it do we just let the filter run until we are ready to use it again? Sorry if this is a dumb question I’m just not understanding how much the heater should be on. Thanks!

Hi all, I just finished month 2 of compounded tirzepatide but I’m really not seeing results yet. I was on compounded semaglutide for about 2 years and lost 50 lbs. Eventually, the pharmacy I was using stopped compounding and I hit a plateau around the same time so decided to try tirzepatide instead. I’m a little disappointed in the results, however; I feel like I’m not seeing the results I saw when starting semaglutide. I was just curious if maybe this medicine takes longer to kick in or what other people’s experience was. I still have about 20 lbs I want to lose, and I was hoping this medicine would be effective for that. I’m wondering if I should stick with it or switch back to Semaglutide

TLDR- recently put on clomipramine but wondering if I can have any amount of alcohol on it/worried about the long list of interactions. But otherwise med is working GREAT for me.

I’ll try and keep this as concise as possible- 40 YO female with a history of depression, anxiety, and OCD. Have been on and off a range of SSRIs over the years, most recently Effexor, which caused vivid nightmares and teeth grinding. I switched providers, and my current one was able to wean me off Effexor and put me on buspirone and Prozac. I found the Prozac was also making me grind my teeth and made me feel flat so she switched me to Luvox and buspirone. I had a really bad reaction to this (sudden depression inc

Curious if anyone else has been through this, it was the first time I’ve ever experienced anything like it. I’ve been on and off SSRIs for 20 years. Recently my doc helped wean me off Effexor, and I switched to Prozac but it was causing teeth grinding at night. She switched me to Luvox after a week off Prozac (she said because of long half life). Within days of starting the Luvox I had an intense bout of depression like I’ve never had in my life. I reached out to my doctor after about a week of this because it was getting scary and asked to be taken off of the Luvox. She said she wasn’t sure that it would have caused depression so quickly, but agreed to switch me to Clomipramine. Within a da

Hi all- I quit smoking January 2020 after I found out I was pregnant with my second daughter. Prior to that I had smoked on and off for like 16 years. I’ve never stopped missing smoking, but it’s always been manageable/more of a background thought and I’ve been able to remind myself that even if I have a puff I’ll become completely addicted again and won’t be able to control it. For the past 4 months or so however I’ve found I can’t stop thinking about smoking and it’s become almost like an obsessive thought. I think it’s a combination of changing my anxiety meds and also being super stressed and upset about the current state of the world. I guess I’m just posting here to see if anyone has a

I’m very new to Substack and have only used it so far to follow a recipe page, but when I went on today to subscribe to more accounts I got the following error message: “Your account is currently suspended. Something you posted may have violated Substack’s Spam & Phishing policy….”

I’ve never posted or even liked anything, anyone have any idea why I’m suspended? I’m not even super clear on how Substack works, I’m that new to it.

Ive (40 year old female) been off Effexor for one month. It took me months to wean off of it, currently on buspirone and Prozac. I have had no typical withdrawal symptoms, and figured I was in the clear.

Last week I started to experience this very weird skin sensitivity and pain on my torso. No rash, no redness, no other symptoms. Went to the doctor today and she said it could be anxiety or MS, so I’m freaking out a little.

I did a Google search of my symptoms and Allodynia keeps coming up. (Unusual reaction to normal stimulus- like the pain I’m feeling from my shirt on my skin). Looking into this a little more one of the treatments is .. Effexor. So it got me to thinking- could my body b

I searched for a post on this topic but didn’t see one so hoping maybe someone has experience or an idea what’s going on. Will try to keep as short as possible.
