We all know that the amount of lightning damage based spells is lacking in all of 5e, and especially so for the cleric. However, I think there exists a build to utilize thunderbolt strike more than just being used with the retaliate reaction. I just need help with determining which direction to take it, while being at least somewhat of a team player. I would like to build around this forced movement and zone control.

For starters, I'm thinking of going Air Genassi or kobold to get shocking grasp, then first feat being Divinely Favoured to pick up a wisdom based witch bolt. Not totally sure on this, but having it seems like a better alternative to thunder wave that seems worthwhile. Also th

Recently started a new job that I have a perfect skill set match for, and is in the "green" environment sector. Thought it would be a better role where I can actually begin helping in regards to climate change. Well, apparently, they deal with the use of animal "by-products" as a good chunk of the business.

Always in the past, people would ask, "how much money to get you to eat a steak?" The answer was no amount is worth perpetuating exploitation. However, what I'm experiencing right now is not some absurd hypothetical, but a serious consideration of an serious sum to help sustain the ag industry.

I really don't know what to do. I don't want to go back to further aiding the largest p

I have a failing HDD, that is used just as a bulk storage disk (read non-OS drive) and haven't backed it up in a while. Now that it is finally giving out, I attempted to back it up and am getting read errors when using Macrium. Is there a better way to pull off the data that either will bypass the read errors so that I can better repair those on a new drive, or some way to copy over the undamaged files?

The files are mainly music/games and are not that important but would like to not lose it all.

Just wanted to let you VEGANS know that if you want to have more converts you definitely need to listen to me; a person who isn't, and frankly, won't ever be a vegan. (It's soooooo hard!) Like this one time, my coworkers brought pepperoni pizzas and asks me if I wanted a slice. HOW COULD I SAY NO?!?! It would've been SUPER WEIRD if I didn't eat it. ANYWAYS... you VEGANS are so mean, like you guys actually made me start to think how there might possibly be some type of consequence to my actions. Not ONLY that, but apparently now I have to take responsibility and feel bad about all the dead animals that NOURISH ME! Like, no way, I love animals! That's why I only drink milk from cows where the

I have a major bug that causes me to fail every retaliation mission. I can kill all the aliens, but it still counts as unsuccessful. Haven't seen anyone else have this issue.

I have verified cache, but still it persists, even through other campaigns.

Recently I wanted to expand my horizon from being an Oolong only type of guy and wanted to try something new. I have heard fantastic things about Pu'erhs and got two samples, one from adagio, and the other from yunnansourcing. But after the second steeping (gong fu) I couldn't stand the flavour. It was just too intense, and tasted of wood and earth. What can I do to make it more palatable, or is it not possible for me to enjoy Pu'erhs?

So, recently I received a Teavana gift card for $50, because the family knows I love tea. I don't happen to enjoy Teavana tea though, and rarely ever go there.

So, now I would like to use it and don't know what to get with it. Can anyone recommend either a decent tea or even some useful tea accessory that I could purchase from them?

I'm making a poll for my old high school to assess both the students and faculty's knowledge of the Bible/Yahweh and current events.

My goal is not to convince them of any other point of view, this is more for me than them. My goal is that I'm hoping that the results will show that they know nothing about their faith.

It will be a fairly straightforward survey of ~50 questions, and I wanted to know of what you think I should put on there. It will consists mostly of multiple choice and checkbox questions.

This school is in the Bible Belt.

Note: This is not meant to convince them of an atheistic viewpoint. The school would not allow me to put forward this survey if I tried to do that

I'm someone who believes in the subjectivity of morality, but yet I can still declare that the stoning of homosexuals/adulteresses/etc. and the massive killings done on behalf of God (Old Testament) is wrong.

Is this because our morals have evolved past the primitive nature some thousands of years ago? And if so, would that still make what happened in Deuteronomy 2:33-34 immoral, or if, being accepted at the time, just based on a different set of valid morals?

I don't get how it is possible for a religion this large to have so many verses mis-translated from the original languages. Just today the verse Exodus 33:11 "And the Lord spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend..." cause me to think of the contradiction in John 5:36b "...Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape." and several other verses about not being able to see/hear God. But looking into this, 'face to face' in the original hebrew doesn't actually mean this, but it can be translated to 'in the presence of' or 'of the forehead' as in a vision.

This doesn't make sense to me, as we have the actual translation which removes all doubt of con
