One of the common complaints about neutral items is that they are random for both teams.

My suggestion is simple. A new shop that sells neutral items. I think it would be cool if they were unique- a player could try to buy an item to deny an opponent or for his own gain.

These items could be different each game, and shown beforehand during the pick phase (which is suggestion we've seen for current neutral items, but I can't say I prefer that).

The shops location could be opposite Rosh or somewhere else appropriate.

Let me know your thoughts.

Today I present to you a prototype that has been sitting idly in my folders for a while- Washington Wood.

https://imgur.com/a/F80rBaw

It generates log cabin toy houses.

Demo here: https://gitsandshiggles.itch.io/washington-wood-generator

I threw together a rudimentary UI, and it is pretty whack so try fullscreen if you cannot see the whole of it. Controls are in the description.

It generates the cabin in a 3D array of chunks first to get a general layout, then from the chunks it will generate large, connected logs in another array. It is fun to generate logs that are very long. You can generate from 1-100 chunks in the demo, so beware of slowdown as you get larger chunks- it's a lot

Hi r/cpp_questions,

I have been working on a project that was originally in Python but because of recursion limits decided to switch to C++. It's been a doozy but rewarding.

The important files in my project- main.cpp, camels.cpp/camels.hpp, and linked_list.cpp/linked_list.hpp.

main.cpp depends on camels.cpp, and camels.cpp depends on linked_list.cpp.

Right now when I compile, I get

/Projects/CamelCalculator/cpp/camels.cpp:12: undefined reference to
`LinkedList<int>::append(int)'

for every function in LinkedList. I've done a lot of research on linker problems in my makefile, but it could be in my code somewhere.

Here is my makefile:

Just sitting in my regional chat channel, I have seen my regularly scheduled

CHECK HOW MANY WINS YOU NEED FOR NEW MEDAL: BOOSTORE.NET/MMR

I actually just saw a new one as well:

EXAMPLECASE.NET : Only this week on EXAMPLECASE.NET high chance for win RARE SKINS! USE promocode GABEN for easy 5 dollars

I love Gaben as much as the next guy, but getting rid of these chat channels will cut out a very popular advertising medium almost instantly. I'm not sure what other advertising mediums there are for boosting services, but I am sure you can get no better than within the game itself.

To top it all off, I can't ignore these users because they are limitless.

I've been listening to it multiple times on a week on stream and definitely want to grab it on vinyl. Good things to say about the Amazon presses?

I can't get Miss Georgia Fornia stuck out of my head- incredibly catchy. I had to say that the second half of the album took a lot longer to warm up to me than the first half, but this thing is so long that I love listening to it while I'm at work.

Hi all,

I am just out of college and I am moving to Boston in March to work as a software engineer. I am looking to get one or two roommates and I do not know many people in the area so I would love to find some nice roommates.

Currently I'm looking into getting a 2 or 3 bedroom apartment in the North End because I want to keep my commute time to a minimum. Getting roommates will definitely help keep the cost low and I like having some company around.

I'm into board games, video games (PC/Nintendo, if you like retro Nintendo I'm your guy) and obviously programming.

If anyone is moving to Boston in February or March and is also looking for a roommate, I'd love to hear from you.

Have you read the sidebar and rules? (Please do)

Yes

What is your intended use for this build? The more details the better.

Gaming, with VR eventually. DotA 2. 3D modeling, coding in Windows.

If gaming, what kind of performance are you looking for? (Screen resolution, framerate, game settings)

I would like highest settings on most things (ultra preferred, high okay). 60fps, even 120fps is great.

What is your budget (ballpark is okay)? $2,000. This does not include the potential 4k monitors if you guys think this build can take it, or potential VR equipment.

In what country are you purchasing your parts?

United States

###Build Help/Ready:

Have you read the sidebar and rules? (Please do)

Yes.

What is your intended use for this build? The more details the better.

Coding in a Windows environment with other software usage like Unity3D and Photoshop.

Gaming: Let's face it, Dota 2 primarily, but I want to get into VR as well in a few months (provided my build can take it)

If gaming, what kind of performance are you looking for? (Screen resolution, framerate, game settings)

I would like recommendations on 4k/1440p, but I have two 1080p monitors right now. 60fps at least, 120fps max. high settings at least, ultra max.

I'm creating a "follow the leader" formation for my game, but I'm getting a stutter in the unit movement.

See here:

https://gfycat.com/AmazingShockedEuropeanpolecat

Right now I have the units moving to the position of the unit in front of it in the formation. I'm sure that this is the same camera follow problem that occurs between Update and LateUpdate, but in this case I have n units that are dependent on another's position, unlike the camera being only dependent on one character.

This implementation was simple, and I'm wondering if there is an easy fix. Otherwise I will look at a waypoint system
