I have inherited an old 2003 5L-E Hilux, and it's got a stonking great exhaust on it that sounds, in my opinion, terrible. It's LOUD.

I want to swap it to something else, and my research suggests that on these non-turbo models, larger exhausts swap low end grunt for more power at the top of the RPM spectrum. Is this correct? It certainly feels that way.

She could definitively do with more low down power, and if a smaller exhaust does that and gets rid of some of this racket, then that's what I'll do.

Can anyone confirm?

Is there anywhere I can see the decision making process that led to Firefox blocking trackers such as Google Analytics by default?

As someone who works with these tools mostly for performance and UI optimisation my feeling is that a reduced presence in the analytics space is likely to hurt FF in the long run, as businesses form decisions around development resourcing from these figures.

I'm sure Mozilla thought this through, I'd just like to see the factors involved.

I fully support users having control over their data, but I don't think there a full appreciation of the benefits of businesses being able to see that FF users make up a decent portion of their user base.

Here in Australia there's a bit of a kerfuffle going on about advertising for a horse race being projected on the side of the Sydney Opera House.

Protestors are planning on disrupting the light show using various strategies, one of which is to use high powered flashlights to "override" the ads.

I'll be interested to see if any of you get down there and show off your units.

Fellow Australians (my understanding is that only we have this at the moment?), I know many of you will have discussed this quite a bit but I'm out of the loop.

Why did Ford go with the 2.0 diesel? It seems to be the weak spot in an other great package.

Anyone know their reasoning?
