Hey again. I was going to add this as an 'edit' in my last post but I thought this might be an interesting topic for discussion so I decided it deserved its own post. This could potentially help a lot of people if it works as it is claimed to.

Does anyone have any experience with the naltrexone 30-day injection? If so, what did you think of it? Did it work? Were there side effects? Did your insurance cover it? Was it a part of a program or is the shot itself the treatment? Do you have to prepare for it? Any information at all would be extremely helpful.

Hey everyone. Sooo I made it 7 days before relapsing again. This time, I had gotten a call from my neighbor asking me if I could cash his check for him. He said that he was trying to get high and that he would pay for me--whatever I wanted. (When does that shit ever happen, right?) At first, I told him no fucking way and that I was 7 days clean but it didn't take long for him to change my mind. It seriously scared me how easy it was for me to give-in. Just minutes before, I was absolutely determined to never get high again. That's crazy to even think about.

Anyways, I ended up copping 5 bags and did them all between friday night and early saturday morning. I didn't shoot them this ti

Hey all. I just wanted to share my recent experience with the supplement agmitine sulfate. I'm not in any way trying to promote this product so I wont share any retailers, although it's relatively cheap no matter whom you purchase it from. Here is a study from 2010 of its effects on opiate tolerance and withdrawal: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2923207/

As far as I know, oral digestion of agmitine hasn't been studied so its unknown whether its effects on opiate tolerance are due to IV doses given in the study(s).

I've been taking it about a week now and I can comfortably say that it seems to have had a profound effect on my overall withdrawal discomfort. I definitely fe

Hey all. I'm new to this sub and really don't know a whole lot about it but I'm in desperate need of some kind of social support and unfortunately there aren't many options available to me that are both low-cost and that I haven't already tried again and again. I feel that I'm far beyond the stage of needing intensive care so it's not quitting that I now struggle with--it's abstinence. No matter how many times I quit, I still regrettably succumb to the power of the cravings that the opiates have left behind. It's almost as if they've left a tracking device inside my brain and just when I thought I've lost them, they pop up when I least expect them to, taunting me with their devilish appeal.

Hey everyone. I've been here so many times that my titles are starting to become redundant. Need I elaborate?

It was last Monday that I relapsed and I've more or less been getting high all week. I've mostly been using extracts but I did also cop on 3 seperate occasions. I was doing real well for quite awhile--I made it pretty close to 3 months...then I slipped up for a week, quit for 3 weeks, and then used pretty heavily for 5 days straight. Today I took a very tiny amount but it was only to awake from that coma that kratom/opiates always seem impose upon me. I have such a hard time waking up after a long night of nodding (almost sounds paradoxical).

I'm not really sure how I'm fee

Hey everybody. So quick background: I had a pretty large heroin addiction for about 5 years and a cocaine addiction for about 8 which overlapped. About two years ago, I successfully quit both dope and coke and even managed to get off the subs as well. I stayed clean for a few months before discovering kratom. It began with the extracts until my use became habitual (which happened rather quickly), then I started shopping online vendors before I finally settled on a wholesale vendor who I bought a kilo from every 2-3 weeks. I used anywhere from 60-100+ grams which continued on for well over a year.

Last March, I found this subreddit and made countless attempts to quit--CT pretty much eve

Hey everyone. Well, I'm not really sure how to begin because there is a lot going on in my life right now so I'll try and be as brief and to the point as possible. I'm under a ton of stress right now and it's really eating away at me. I've been neurotic as hell for months now and I'm just not sure how much more I can take. Anger and depression are starting to overcome me and I'm overreacting to things that normally wouldn't even bother me. I'm generally a calm and collective person so this is very out of character for me. I guess I just feel like I'm close to my breaking point right now.

Anyways, so the main thing that's bothering me right now is that I have this close friend who is i

Hey everyone. It's been awhile but I'm proud to say that it's basically been over 3 months since I last took kratom (I say basically because at my 5 week point I did have a very minor setback and took some extracts but only for a couple days. I havn't touched anything at all since). Breaking free was a major task for me as I hadn't been able to get passed 2 months (but really, a few days or weeks) in maybe 6 years?

I was addicted to heroin for about 5 years and had a huge habit but bouncing back and forth between the dope and subs the whole time. I also had a huge coke habit for a long time as well so needless to say, I was a complete wreck. Well, right around the middle of the 5-yea

Hey everyone. So I've never posted on here before so I do hope that my story is appropriate for its content. I'm just stuck in this situation which is making me insanely neurotic and I need some advice. I feel stuck and not sure how to handle this. I'm happier than I've ever been before but at the same time there is this black cloud of worry and despair hanging over me. If anyone could offer me any advice, I would greatly appreciate it. I've talked to my friends but of course being that they are MY friends, they're opinions on the matter are likely to be somewhat biased--which is okay, I love them for supporting me but I suppose I need an outside perspective on the matter in order to accurat

Hey, everyone!! I havn't posted anything in months so I thought that I would check-in and see how everyone is doing. I finally found something to occupy nearly all of my time so I've been meaning to post for awhile now but just havn't had a chance to. I noticed there are tons of new people so if you don't remember me I'm the one with the monster habit who is more than likely responsible for helping sustain Tailand's economy. Okay, so maybe I'm exaggerating a little but 1/2 kilo per week along with various extracts definitely helped my vendor's profit margins, that's for sure.

Anyway, so after years of being in almost constant despair and feeling absolutely hopeless, I'm proud to say tha

Hey everyone. So I've noticed that a lot of people have been having trouble with this Vivazen shit lately and I was just wondering, has anyone had experience with both that and leaf or extract and can compare it? I was just curious to know how they relate in strength because its hard to offer advice not having tried the Vivazen myself. Actually, I've never even seen it to be honest so it must only be found in certain states. Anyway, yeah just wondering what some of these people are up against....

I just came accross this TED talk on addiction and thought I should share it. I know there are a lot of you you have never been addicted to harder drugs but nevertheless, if you've been addicted to kratom I think this applies to you too. Addiction is addiction, as I've learned over the years of experiementing with almost every drug--and becoming severely addicted to at least 3 classes of drugs (tobacco, cocaine, and opiates). The ending really hit home in terms of relevance to my own life and I may have even shed a tear, haha. Okay, yeah I did. Anyway, check it out. I'm sure you will all relate.

"The opposite of addiction is not sobriety.

Well as the title says, I fell back into the rabbit hole, no doubt about it. I have been getting high for over a week...maybe 2? I honestly don't even know how long its been as I've been on and off of a looooong nod for quite some time. The whole day went by yesterday and I only recall going one place, the rest is blurry. I can sit here and explain why I did it but it wouldn't make a difference so I'll just say I played with fire and got burnt--I just can't take opiates for their municipal value no matter how much they help; all the self control in the world couldn't help me with that. They have had too much of an impact on my reward & pleasure pathways for me to control my urges.
