I lived in Okinawa a decade ago and smoked Uruma cigarettes religiously. I have craved them since returning home to the States. I am looking for a kindhearted person living in Okinawa who might be willing to send some to me since I can't find them online, or anywhere. Feel free to DM me if you are able to help.

Just a rant post for you: I got into OE/job stacking last fall. I am transitioning from teaching to something corporate - chose marketing as my new career and have been working my ass off on perfecting my resume and interview skills. I finally landed J1 a few weeks ago and begin soon - a big deal that I'm proud of.

Simultaneously I was interviewing with a potential J2 that would have been sweet - honestly, it would have been a fun job doing something enjoyable and interesting. Plus, the comp was >$100k with sweet bennies and a bonus. After a recruiter interview, a 1-hour interview with two VPs, and another 1-hour interview with two future coworkers, I was told by the recruiter that I ess

My wife and I (but mostly she) have been training out son to use the potty for what seems like ages at this point. I believe we began in earnest about six months ago, when he was about 14 months old. It has been a difficult and prolonged journey, but we have made significant headway. Our son has not really worn a diaper except overnight for the last 1-2 months, and he always tells us when he has to poop. But - peeing is another issue entirely!

He refuses to go to the potty when he has to pee. He doesn't even tell us, like when he has to poop. We usually have to notice that he has begun to wet his pants, and then convince him, beg him, to come to the potty. He willfully resists the ba

Hello! My wife and I are the parents of a lovely 6-month old boy. We have been working on sleep training for the past couple of months, which has seen moderate success. Prior to training, he was unable to sleep alone at night; we finally broke at 4 months and committed to Ferber. Despite some hiccups, things seemed to have reached a point where he is able to put himself to sleep quickly (which we actually got right away), and stay asleep longer. In the last week, he has been sleeping 8+ hours at a stretch, from roughly 6pm to about 2-3am. He then wakes for a night feed, goes back to sleep (usually without any issues at this point), but then awakes again around 4.30am, and is completely

Video Driver question

Question / Problem

I recently purchased a used T480s via eBay. It arrived in fine shape and appears to be a good machine. I had no problems for the first day or so. A couple of days ago I decided to run some Windows updates to make sure everything was up-to-date, and also because I was told that Windows 11 could be installed. After running these updates I began to have a screen flickering issue.

Every few seconds the screen will freeze and go black for a second or so. This happens fairly inconsistently - sometimes it's every ten seconds, sometimes multiple instances back-to-back.

I reached out to the eBay seller and was informed that the Windows updates had overwritten the Lenovo video driver, replacing

I originally posted this question in the r/Maine subreddit, but thought I would repost it here for additional insight. Thanks to all in advance.

My wife and I are thinking of relocating to northern Maine, specifically the Caribou/Presque Isle area. I have a work opportunity up there. We are planning on visiting at the end of the month to get a feel for the place, but ahead of the visit I wanted to reach out to some local Mainers to inquire about the general community of northern Maine.

My wife is originally from Bangor, and while we both would like to move to the country, even she has reservations about moving so far out into the country. Her bi

Hello, I am a first time SSE modder. After having spent the better part of the past week learning about modding, building a dream mod list, and playtesting, I have a few unresolved issues I could use some help with. You can find my load order below, and I will also share some screenshots from in-game to help explain the issues I am seeing.

(Note: I posted a similar build a few days ago and didn't get any responses. Did some more research on my own and came up with this.)

Title says it all. Being trapped inside all week has inspired me to put together a dream PC. I think it is in good shape at the moment, but I am always looking for more input.

The keyboard is a price placeholder only. Not a big fan of the RGB keyboards, and in general have tried to make this build as simple as possible. Attempting to navigate r/MechanicalKeyboards confusing wiki to find the best keyboard/caps for me - but will take some more time.

Was told to update with location: Providence, RI.

Hi everyone. Bit of a convoluted story here: My girlfriend has been living in her house for a year now. One of her roommates (let's say Kate) moved out on Monday. I am moving in with my girlfriend, and we are taking Kate's old room. It's the same size as my girlfriend's old room, but a bit more secluded in the house and right off the kitchen. She gets up early so it is convenient. Moreover, the "rotation" of rooms in the house progresses as I've described: whomever is in the house longest gets priority on Kate's old room.

While we were at work yesterday our other roommate (Julie) snuck her stuff into our room. Julie is moving out of

Hi everyone. I have a quick question about the Abruzzo and Molise regions.

My father's family came to America ~100 years ago from a small commune called Bonefro. All my life my grandmother and other relatives have told me the family came from Abruzzo. The family was very proud of this, as Italian-Americans often are about their heritage. Now, while I consider myself an American first and foremost (being so many generations removed), still, I felt a sort of pride about my origins. Hearing the stories from my older relatives about how beautiful Abruzzo is, with the greenery, the food, the coast, etc, I had always hoped to make a visit to see where we came from, and some part of me develo

Hi everyone. Long time lurker, first time poster. After last night's episode and the subsequent fallout I thought I'd share a couple of thoughts that have helped me to better enjoy this the latest season of our beloved to be hated GoT. Perhaps this is redundant or just plain stupid, but I think there's a lot of dissatisfaction in the community right now, so I wanted to provide some help where I could.

But before getting into it, I should say that I have actually quite enjoyed this season so far. I think that there have been some stellar episodes, and I'm glad D&D are seeming to finally branch out on their own. To me, most of the decisions to conjoin characters or to speed up events

Hi everyone. I'm a Verizon customer who has a phone upgrade available. I would really like to get my hands on an Xperia Z5 Compact. I don't like how large smart phones have become, and Samsung/Motorola only offer really pared-down versions of their flagship phones. I like that the Xperia doesn't compromise on hardware even in a smaller phone.

Anyway, it looks like Verizon doesn't directly sell the Xperia line? For some reason the phones weren't showing up on the in-store database so I was unable to purchase the phone and apply my upgrade to it. Do I have to buy the phone directly from Sony and then take it in to Verizon? Is there any way I can apply my upgrade to this phone through V
